    Hey. I liked this motorcycle. Can I ask you about its reliability, the prices of its maintenance and fuel consumption. Thanks in advance.

      @colinmilstead8381 7 лет назад +1

      Oleg Oleg not sure if you’re still interested, fuel consumption is like 37mpg, they’re supposed to be fairly reliable so long you take care of them and maintenance really is comparable to sport bikes

    The 1000 Concours is Kawasaki's Own Dumbed Down for touring duty GPZ900 Ninja ,the Fuel Tank Bodywork Tail section Side panels Forks Swingarm Rim size all Scream the early and One of the Best ever to come out of Kawasaki Production bike's ever GPZ900 Ninja. If they had the Brain's and ball's to bring this kinda bike back today it would sell out like hotcakes , Simply because the 900cc was that good. Dated mid June 2021.

      On the left side of the bike (as u sit on it) there is a somewhat square panel with some rounded corners and two screws. I can’t remember if it’s under the left body panel or not. You may have to remove the left panel (1 screw). The small squarish air filter panel has 2 screws, 1 on either side. When you get that little plastic cover off there is a tab underneath the filter. Pull that tab first, noting the direction of the bevel when you pull it out. You’ll have to pull somewhat hard on it. That holds the filter up in the air box. Pretty simple to find and maintain. Many put a K&N filter in so they can clean and reuse it.

      1986 to mid 2004 in Australia. Avoid the 1986 model due to soft valves.

      @snwdwg1 replace the engine valves? Quite an expensive endeavour even if you're doing the work yourself.
