SO wild to hear the back catalog careening around wildly in the Peel context... a wild mix of the old being updated, the proven being milked and the new being struggled with... super interesting
Of course, love the originals and Ian is so iconic with his voice and intonations, but this Peel Session which I was not aware of, have cool versions of Isolation and True Faith, and really like this version of Atmosphere. The music in Atmosphere is taken seriously and the spirit is there, rightfully. Comforting for all it's worth.
Ah, I forgot I owned this CD. Look for "In Session" by New Order. That release collects this Peel session and a different BBC show that has tracks from Get Ready.
The best in the world grew up listening to this band and today my children also listen to it ...
Brotherhood is one of the most underrated LPs of all time.
I’ve never heard this Isolation version… it’s incredible!
Isolation, amazing version of that song!
WTF is that version ? nerver heard it, AND I LOVE IT !
Fab Bergez-V check out, Joy Division
@@mikey8710 duh
It’s alright. Jd did it better imo
@@shaungreer3350 they're the same band
🎵 I can't tell you where we're going
Guess there's just no way of knowing 🎵🌬️ Iconic
This verse represents Brazil 2021. So sad.
what a FANTASTIC TRACK listing, 1-4 esp, and of New order - 2-4 - among my top favs all 3 are, and true faith will always be my fav song all time.
oh how could you not include Atmosphere? that's an absolute CLASSIC!
Τhank you! Have a nice cool summer! How the years pass..
True Faith 🙋🙋♂✨💯 excellent version for this WONDERFUL song!

Thanks vibraC. Perfect summertime memories of the past. Good day!

It's f%$king brilliant!!
TFW you find totally "new to you" versions of songs that you love :)
Isolation may arguably be the song in which Ian most laid his soul bare, but this is the best version of it.

Brotherhood is a masterclasss of sound
Such tremendous confidence in the material, to just say how about this now instead?
they were having a good day...
Great version!
Excelente por donde lo escuches. Muchas gracias!!!
😁 genial
Really cool version of "Isolation".
good job
🖤
EPIC
I have a bootleg CD of this. Back when bootleg CD's were easy to make and plentiful.
On vinyl as a Peel session anybody?
Andy I m sure there is the complete John Peel Sessions not sure if it's vinyl cd or download but I think it's outside there somewhere
GREAT!
I don't think Hooky even mentions this session in his N/O book.
I checked, it is listed in it as an album "new order plays radio 1", but nothing about the 1998 recording or the more upbeat versions
True Faith here, is when remixes became live property. And why not?
Wow. Might be the best version I've heard of True Faith
THE BEST
atmosphere
Brody think he’s emo
Isolation in this version, did not last long. Thankfully. Every ounce of subtlety hammered out. ...Shame on someone...
Yeah...shame on you asshole....
@@Michael-TJ You know what I kinda agre with you, but it is arsehole, honey. X Kiss?
They've done this version live loads of times, as recently as 2014 , so you're wrong.
Barney ain't no Ian vocal wise. 😅
He's better
@@KuwaharaBMXRider He's better at doing his shit. Ian's on the other hand....
