Build a wall mounted knife holder (and save your counter space)

  • After making the new kitchen knife handle, I needed to find a way to store them better than tossed in a kitchen drawer. I decided to use the last of the remaining fence pickets to make a simple wall mounted knife holder. Its a great alternative to a knife block as it saves the counter space.

    Very good video, great idea - but PUHLEEEEEZE use a riving knife or splitter on your tablesaw! That way, you can keep making useful videos!

    Great video, should add a picture at the end of the video of it wall mounted with all the knifes in it though so people can see the finished holder in use

    Nice project, and you raise a good point about the need for the finish to be fully cured to be food safe. However, I've read that most finishes take up to a month to fully cure and be considered food safe.
