so since u didnt give any info then here you go guys: --Its a chest that drops loot based on your il --chest is 2h respawn time --you cant rly swap layers inside chromie time --you need to unlock the portal by doing long questline, so your alts are kinda fucked --its not 100% epic loot, I got 2greens from it when I did it on my dh (268il at that time)
Thank you for the extra info. This video was uploaded when there wasn't a lot of info about the chest and Reddit was theory crafting. Then about an hour after WOWHEAD put a post up with the info. Thank you for the help I've pinned the comment

Weekly lockout. I did the easier to locate Trials while leveling and got a 363 weapon that requires 70 at level 63 or so. Did the other Trials that's more hidden and got a 379 belt. I went back to 1st Trials chest and waited about 2 hours for it spawn, and was not able to start the event as it's a weekly lockout.
i was doing the one at Ohn;iri spring and the chest always vanish right when i can loot it, iam always there at the start of it. too i kill all the mobs and boss and cant loot.
I've heard mixed comments on this but apparently If you do the chromie campaign quest at 70 you can also get a high ilvl neck too. So it's worth doing.
Sadly since this video was released they have reduced a lot of world drops, this chest included. You can get lucky with gear but most times it is blues and lower ilvl
I wouldn't normally react to things like this but I think it's crucially important to make 2 points here. 1. Wowhead doesn't have exclusivity on all wow news albeit a very useful wow site. 2. This video was posted 32 minutes before the wow article was released.about the same topic.
It's on some timer. I waited for both chests. Takes a few hours to spawn, you loot the chest, the event then starts. Once you clear 4 waves of progressively harder adds then you can loot the chest for a powerful item.

I believe it is weekly. Some people are saying they might reset with the world quest reset rotation but that seems unlikely.
So why does the chest phase out and disappear every time i do this?

Drops are random. Just got a 372ilvl polearm as a bm hunter. Chest seems to be 2hours ish spawn

its not 100%, i just did it and got a lowlevel piece (and yes i have the 389 ring and several 372 epics)
It is but sadly blizzard nerfed it this morning. It was dropping higher than expected loot. So probably not as high as doing M0s now
