Hi Wayne, yes you'll need some sort of internet connection for the fire stick to work, this would be the same for any smart device unless it has the option to download the media prior to going away. Options for internet connectivity would be items such as site wifi, 3G dongle or connecting it to a mobile phone etc, hope this help.
We bought an excellent high range 28” LG smart tv with 5 year guarantee from Currys for £169 with top quality picture and sound. We don’t need 12v on it. Find you pay double the price or more for travel TV’s with inferior output with only 1-2 years guarantee at best so ignored the avtex and the like.
Hello Jim. Tv's can be a pain to choose. I ended replacing mine with a Smart TV as we don't need a 12volt option. Good Video. Phil👍
Thanks Phil, as you say many options are available, glad to see my videos are slowly getting out to a wider audience :)
@@wobbleboxcrew HI Jim It takes a while to get going. I was advised to just be myself and stop when the enjoyment fades. Good Luck Phil
Hi - good video. Being dull, do you need wifi for the fire stick to work?

Couldn't agree more, always get a better picture/sound output over one that does everything for a short period of time with a lower-quality build.
