One of the best Sci fi Ship designs of all time. Thanks for the build man i was thinking of trying to make something daedalus esq, your builds are super good quality and Also easy to modify further if you wanna change the layout a bit or add some new looks.
Nice job! You know that Bethesda “borrowed” a plot idea from Stargate Atlantas in the Ghost of the Machine episode, where replicator Dr. Weir gets stuck in the base computer. The voice in the machine matches the mission where you discover two Ryujin execs trying to deal with a sentient AI and you are called to negotiate with it.

I was trying to build the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels and was looking for inspiration and came across a few channels, but your guides are actual guides, you go through step by step and don't skip any parts. Thanks for sharing these amazing builds, same goes for your Conan Exiles builds.

Love your tutorials mate! So far, I think you've done every ship that I was even considering trying to build myself, save for two, and they're pretty esoteric. I've pretty much resigned myself to slogging through the designs on my own. #1: The Minbari/Insterstellar Alliance, White Star from "Babylon 5" & #2: the retrieval ship from "Roughnecks: Starship Trooper Chronicles". Looks great! One thing you can do to simplify the interior slightly without changing the exterior look is swapping the 1x1 hab and slim docker behind the landing bay for the full size deimos docker flipped upside down. Gets rid of the otherwise useless storeroom/companionway behind the bay.

Deimos shipyard is actually crazy because in one episode of stargate Atlantis the people of one world call the wraith Deimos (may be different spelling though)
The only thing thats missing from these is like a price range on the build. Other then that I think these are amazing

Ha this is great i just built my own version, it differs in construction and flow but i do have to say yours has a lot of improvmente. If you want add 4 rail gun turrets to get that fireing feel from the show as the turrets will stagger fire in battles more often and deal out massive damage rapidly with the auto versions.

This was an amazing build, I'd love to see you do the lantian aurora class cruiser from stargate atlantis, I think it would be an awesome build for starfield.
I wish and future builds you would list all the parts that's from different shipyards first that way we can go and get them before we start building at an outpost. Sometimes using placeholder parts in a build can affect the way the ship gets made and it sucks that we can't save progress while we are building a ship

Cool build. If you don’t mind me asking, where does your crew sleep? The Deimos living quarters has no beds and I didn’t see any other berthing.
I’d change the Living Quarters to a 2x1 all in one, and change the Science Lab to another all-in-one since you also have an infirmary. Just what I would do.

The tempest and normandy from mass effect i think are tricky to get done well because of how curvy they are.
@@callummartin4697 true but they dont need to be 1 to 1 cause if they were the Normandy (both the SR1 and SR2) would require mods to be used in game the tempest is smaller then both so it could fit in the game without a mod minus the curves, and i know they are curvy but again they just need to match the silhouette enough, one can only hope that when the mod tools become available someone makes a ship pack mod

Just a note, that's not where the bridge of the Daedalus is. That's the flight control tower, the bridge is actually dead center.
I am aware, but going with the look of the ship, the bridge looked the most like the flight control tower. I don't know of another piece that would look the same, if not better, to take its place.

@@DrB048 yeah i am gunna make sure to save up because the hab units alone aren't going to be cheap 😂
So for the engines, landing gear, and cockpit, you can steal a crimson fleet wight 3 or spacer hyena 3 and that'll save you some creds and some jumping around!

Any estimate on how much this cost you altogether to build if you had to ballpark it? Not sure if there was any missing costs from the video I saw.
Always took the ship I was replacing to the staryards that need specific pieces and just added them to that ship. That way it saves from buying a part just to replace it with the required ones
