I absolutely love the teal, tourguoise colour. And the beam of light. Everything is brilliant. Yes your palette is always the next level. The Holy spirit inspire my art style, and you are making it beautiful each day, and that helps to affirm that You got this. To say you inspire me in my art poems is to say the least. And I love that you are not afraid to play with and have fun with all these interesting media. I gave you a huge like, I wish I can give you a hug too. I love your thought process sister. God bless you richly in Jesus name Amen.
I just want to say your videos are so calming and as a fellow artist, it's nice to watch you work during your process. I've been recently watching your videos before I start my day, making a cup of tea and work on some of my pieces while I watch. If you ever do a patreon, I will definitely follow! Thank you for sharing your process!
Thank you so much! I too, love painting while I watch other artist videos in the background...a fun way to create and express while taking in little bits of info at the same time.
Lovely again. I've begun to re-watch your video collection, Allison. Also I came upon a gorgeous book that made me think of you. "At the Artisan's Table" Jane Schulak & David Stark. If you haven't seen it yet I feel you'd love it. Oceans of inspiration within. Happy Friday from the island!
I'm only 3 minutes in and just had to mention that I imagined fairies in the pink dots just above the silver gelatos shimmer. They just appeared! I love when that happens! ok…going back to it...
When I use watersoluble materials like gelatos and Neo colour 2's crayons (watersoluble ones), I paint mostly on paper, and the finished work gets framed. I don't tend to seal my work if it will be framed... every now and then I use a nontoxic spray fixative called Spectrafix to "fix " some of the marking in place.
Here's an up vote for seeing your whole process, polkadots and all.
love it! thanks so much
I agree! I learn a lot from watching Allison's mark making and illustrative work!
Love this piece. It makes me think of an under ocean scene somehow. Lovely
This IS my absolute favorite painting of yours that I've seen
thanks so much

There was me thinking I was the only messy artist 😂 I have pinned paper blinds to the wall behind my art desk to catch the splashes of paint.
