Keep the torch on the pickup cover until the spot goes red hot. The colors go from honey, to purple to blue, to light blue almost white to green. Purple is hard to get, so is green.
Cool....👍
Could you possibly grace us with a breakdown on how you dial in your signature guitar tone on your next build video? It sounds very 80's-esque, both the cleans and crunch and leads, and I would say the sound from your demo track on the mini travel guitar finale was probably one of your best (jam was great too, you should make that into a full song!) \m/
Very cool, Ive used liver of sulfur to get that effect but gawd it stinks, I have a torch!! Thx
1000 new Etsy sellers incoming!
Cool vid 🙂
Short and sweet video that nails the task. Thanks for the inspiration!
Te los cambio por una bolsa de Doros!
Y qué pasó con la Fireflies? Ya te mero tengo tus cien, para próximo domingo voy a vender dos bolsas de botes de aluminio y ya acábalo!
burnt chrome will always be the coolest looking hardware. I had a really awesome looking Bareknuckle with a burnt chrome cover and it looked great in a 7 string green chameleon xiphos
I wonder if you could draw a design on the cover first using something like a Q-tip and Canola oil?
Very Very cool!
Very cool finish ! Thanks for sharing it.
Do you think it's possible to do the same on a Floyd rose licensed tremolo ? Or there's a risk to alterate the mechanical functions ?
I've got a 7 strings tremolo that will be great in a diy project with full burnt chrome hardware & pickup covers and the 80' holoflash finish you shared on an other video
It depends on the chrome. I hit some chrome Fender tuners with the blow torch and the "chrome" just melted off.
Ok thanks for the answer
