With the bench seat it's actually easier to get to the 3rd row because it has a different folding mechanism which enables the 2nd row seats to fold forward even with a child seat attached.
I have a 21 cx9 great car except for the oil consumption of the 2.5 turbo that Mazda is aware of but won't recall to fix the problem which is bad valve Seals which causes oil to get into the combustion chamber. So if you have this car keep a eye on your oil level.
Well done on the review. We purchased a new 2021 Mazda CX-9 GT a couple weeks ago, but we're still waiting for it to arrive. Apparently the deep crystal blue is a rare color... the wife wanted it though so I gotta keep her happy.
@@harrybosch8972 Yeah, that may have been part of it, but the Mazda dealer told us at the time they weren't having as big of a problem getting new vehicles as other dealers in the area. And, all three of the Mazda dealers in my area had several black, white, and red CX-9s available. I just think the blue color is less popular.
I bought my parents one of these! They had a VW Atlas that was an electrical nightmare. I hope the Mazda CX-9 will be dependable. There is the GT with beige leather and white exterior. It handles almost as well as my Audi Q7. I highly recommend Mazda.
I like the look of the exterior. I think some companies have maybe gone a little too far with their designs. It's a nice clean look. I think it's aged well. My A6 is fairly "plain" but I and others think it looks pretty nice.
The only true luxury cars are Rolls Royce, Bentleys, and the other few just like. Mercedes, Lexuses, BMW's, are not luxury cars they are high end cars, and the Mazda Cx9 looks just as good and even better than some of those and so it is also high end. I get tired of hearing that crap about the so-called luxury cars are the only ones luxury because they cost too much money.
I approve this message!! I bought a CX-9 recently after driving a CX-5 for several years and wanting an upgrade. I was looking at the “lower” end “high” end crossover models such as the Lexus NX and I was like why pay 10K more for that just to say I’m driving a Lexus when I can get luxury features in the CX-9 and get more bang for my buck. Plus I was already familiar with and impressed by Mazda having been in one for years. Your take makes total sense
Does anybody know how you can tell the outside degrees temperature on this car? I’m not talking about the AC and heat temperature. I’m talking about the regular temperature for outside usually shows on the dash on cars but I can’t find it
@@harrybosch8972 I test drove a signature and they are amazing. But we have a dog and having that space between the seats in the 2nd row is a pretty big deal. If the center council on the signature was removable, no question. But as you can get most of the signature on a GT with an extra package, and one is on order already, that's probably what I'll go with. And I like the Mazda red.

Bought one a few months ago. Really fun to drive and very comfortable. Best value for the money.
I agree! Thanks for watching :)

In the shop now for this...finally did the service bulletin.

Thanks Trent! Great purchase - definitely one of my favorite cars of 2021, you’ll love it :)
It's not a rare color inventory shortages because of chip shortages

Glad to hear that! The CX-9 is a seriously impressive vehicle. I also love the new Q7! Good taste :)
I own a 2016 GT. Absolutely great vehicle. No issues what so ever. Great power and fuel economy for the size of vehicle.

The Signature is a bit nicer with the Napa leather, wood trim, Captain seatings on first 4 seats, the wheels as well.
You can get the GT with captain chair 2nd row. That's what I plan to do.

When are you planning to review the 2022 Acura MDX? I’ll be looking forward to it. Thanks.
Thanks for the kind words Kevin! The 2022 MDX is actually one of the cars I’m most excited about - hoping to get my hands on one soon! Stay tuned :)
