- It’s here! Part 1 of our epic 23 nights at Walt Disney World and on the Disney Wish cruising to the Bahamas. In this vlog we cover week 1; travel day, our first 2 resorts (Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside and Disney’s Saratoga Springs), theme parks (Seaworld, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios), the food and wine festival at EPCOT, some of the shopping and dining experiences at Disney Springs, our Behind the Seeds tour of Living with the Land at EPCOT, resort hopping (Polynesian, Trader Sam’s, Kona café, French Quarter, beignets, Grand Floridian, Enchanted Rose, Narcoossees…) and loads of tips to make the most of a vacation at Walk Disney World! I don’t do coasters but love test tracks. We love French quarter the rooms are the same layout but no Disney curtain. Enjoy the rest of your trip

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I haven't been to Disney since 2001 so I know an awful lot has changed.
The food and drink looks fantastic.

Well done Jamie/Matthew. Your 'glide' through week one was very well produced and captured the spirit/energy of the journey. While I have owned a pair of deck shoes, I was glad to see Matthew embracing the running shoes as it will avert a lot of pain/misery later in the holiday as you are constantly on the move each day. Others may feel differently, but Disney requires you come mentally and financially prepared for the stay. Penny pinching will only make things stressful and take away from the adventure. As a CA resident, Disney prices mirror CA prices so we feel little price shock when spending. Look forward to the entire series.

We loved this. Been looking forward to it. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and it brought back so many memories. Thanks Jamie. I laughed at the “Would you shut up” comment. It’s Disney. It’s loud. It’s what they are 😂 and as for Prine Time Cafe ??? The best. I think we are ready to go back…..without the kids.
Oh definitely leave the kids at home! 😂 An hour?! Oh my gosh! There’s still 2 more parts, 5 resort vlogs and 4 vlogs about a cruise! 😆

I’m so looking forward to these videos! We still have our refillable mugs at home. Almost stayed PO but ended up r Old Key West, which we really liked as it’s quiet after the busy parks. Loved the boat trip to Disney Springs. Hope you both have a fantastic time.

Cant believe I have not had notifications coming through. Looking forward to reading and catching up. Where is your home resort Jamie ? I used to own at Wilderness lodge but my ex partner passed away so had to give it up. After going every year for 12 years not been back for 8. Cannot believe how expensive it is to eat and drink there. We are so used to the higher dollar rate. Never mind hope we can return one day. Settled for cruising now for a bit . Fab TR Jamie
Our home resort is Saratoga springs (used to be Animal Kingdom Lodge). So sorry to hear about the passing of your ex partner
Hi! I'm new here! Our family of 5 stayed at Riverside for our first trip in 2018. Gorgeous resort but we were so far from the lobby! We stayed at Beach Club this past November and my husband and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary this December and we're renting DVC points at Saratoga Springs! I see you stayed in Congrrss Park. Would you recommend Congress Park? We did book a preferred room.
Hi there! I would recommend but I’d suggest checking out my vlog all about Saratoga / Congress park to make sure it’s the right area for you and the distances are ok? I’ll pop the link here for you. How does it work with tickets? Is it some sort of combo ticket so you can visit all the parks? If so how much is it and how long for?
From the U.K. you can get a park hopper ticket for a week or two weeks meaning all Disney parks / water parks inc. For 2 weeks it works out at about £35 per day in total.
Loved the blog. Did you pre book restaurants before you left UK we go in about 50 days 😂
We pre-booked some and currently booking as and when we fancy something in particular - depending on the time of year, some restaurant seats are like gold dust

I’m not sure how that works as we booked flights / tickets and accommodation separately: I imagine you’d need to call to book multiple resorts as a package
