Stoned Jesus - Mountain is just a classic for the genre. That one belongs on a 'stoner rock guitar gods' list... and if you make that one....I will throw what McLeod puts down on Elk Blood Heart up against most anything for that list. That solo is bottled magic.
I use a Fender Rumble bass amp guitar and Bass guitar. you can get lower tones when an electric guitar plays through it I want an effect pedal that will sound like: SOUNDGARDEN & Qotsa. Can you give advice for a distortion pedal for each band type

my brother Sir Tony iommi is my dearest Guitar hero of all times i am a Huge Goth Doom Metal/ Funeral Doom lover and musician as well yeah iommi is that massive icon that has to come to mind with you see an SG specially when playing Dark somber tones drop low tunings etc but also Kym thayil is another honorable mentioning i have played his Black signature i found it at one of the Guitar C stores and truly could not believe it was sitting there just glad that guitar become much more accessible since it was such a rare beauty i think is in my list for underrated SG guitar types aside the old Yamaha SG series as well sometimes i don't know what i love more between my Black Beauty Custom Les paul and my Ebony SG??? despite SG feeling more slick and having that extra nicer access on higher frets i just ADORE this guitars with all my soul anything that resembles these 2 styles or a infusion of both is just all what i want in a good Doom metal looking guitar
No doubt a random question bro! but do like/play any black metal? I asked because the jump from doom/drone to the depressive suicidal subgenre of black metal is not that great. Darkthrone and Burzum for example have many slow atmospheric 'doomy' riffs, it'd be cool to hear you play a few through your trusty SG!
