I like it how you always give thanks to the workers at the end. It's a shame it even has to be said but without these hard-working people actually doing the work society wouldn't work for very long, they deserve more respect than a lot of people realize. Great video as always!
Always excited when I see one of your videos pop up. This was another interesting one. I love the "or he fell off the face of the earth bit". Your sarcastic remarks sprinkled on occasion add a nice touch. Keep up the good work man :)
I'd like to see some videos on snow removal. I've seen some crazy contraptions myself as well as a bunch of other stuff other used by municipalities far away. My state will often hitch up trailers behind snowplows that are diagonal to the truck, so a single struck can plow an entire highway by itself. I've seen videos of other contraptions that collect snow in a large trailer and then flash melt it or mix it with seawater to melt it and then dump it into the water drainage systems.
I use a street sweeper at work regularly to clean the parking lot and dock areas of the property. As it stands I have major issues with the lack of repairability of the modern equipment I have but good grief these early sweepers look even worse unless you had your own smith and/or machine shop to make parts for repairs.
I love these videos and I'm so happy you showed up on my homepage. Your videos are always top quality, and offer a great insight into something I otherwise would've known nothing about. Keep up the great work :)
My city has a few interesting sweeper trucks, which can run both on the road and on rails to clean the tracks of the tram- and light rail system. They even have a third headlight at the top which they will turn on when running on rails (all rail vehicles running in Germany must have three headlights).
Its 3 AM, Im sleepy but not tired. Then I hear it, the soft hum and brushes swirling. A late night hero has arrived, sweeping the away the everyday filth and protecting my home.
This made me think: Is there any relation between street sweepers and the invention of the Zamboni machine? They look very similar and it seems that the Zamboni works very similarly.
Talk about trucking in the ksa. The ~45°c desert and long empty roads across the region The constant fear of the engine overheating and getting stranded Just to get the job done and keep the economy running.
I just wish they'd USE the damn things here, to take away all the pulverised grit and salt from the winter. It's sticking to literally everything, the roads are almost as slippery as the ice was in places, and it's costing me a ridiculous amount in screen wash to keep my windscreen clear of it.
@@MikeV8652 I have started commenting what I'm eating under the videos I watch while eating. I will be eating the same thing tomorrow at the same time but watching a different video.
@@snoowbrigade Oh, okay! I find chicken salad quite unappetizing, so I took your statement as a reference to having to eat it while watching a video about filth in the streets. If you like chicken salad, more power to you. You're welcome to my share!
It'd be cool if you did an video about the history of mail trucks like the llv used in the us.
Ooh yes! It would be cool to see how they changed from the beginning of the post office moving by rail to now, that new semi electric one
I'd watch that.

Fun fact: in the UK road sweepers built on truck chassis tend to be LHD so the driver can easily see the kerb
Love you content
Sweep sweep sweep!
That was awesome
I have an idea
Does The Aland Islands/Åland have trucking?

We used to see these street cleaners all the time I don't even see him no more
You should try making a video about Indonesian trucking. Lots of them used Hino trucks
