I've been working to get my CDL and hopefully will soon because I really want to get into street sweeping. But what's the difference in having a class A or B when it comes to being a street sweeper?
Class A CDL is a tractor and trailer combination (Over 30,000 LBS), where as a Class B is just a "straight truck" (with no trailer or attached device). As a driver that got a Class B first and then a CDL A later I would recommend getting a A first (I got the CDL A and B for free so it worked our in the long run) to save you time and money and your value as a driver to your employer will be significantly higher. There are a number of programs that may be able to help you get it at a discount or free.
@@Vickyvee97 I think I understand that aspect but is that also the main difference when it comes to street sweeping in particular? Or are you operating the same vehicle when it comes to sweeping regardless of what class of license you have? When I see sweeper jobs online most of them will accept A or B.
I’d go with getting your class A you’ll be more valuable to the company or city that you work for. Could would out in your favor also if you decide you don’t like sweeping after a while on the job you can move around in your company or can switch.
We hired a street sweeper at are local airport and it had no vacuum or water the whole place was 10x dirtier when before, Little Rock’s everywhere, the asphalt was brown. he came I can’t believe they paid him. can you imagine getting hired to clean something and making it more dirty and then asking to get paid!
I was a security contractor for a large chain that is blue and starts with a w and ends in Mart. The store I worked at had the problem. Since I was a night shift substitute for that site I knew of other companies that I’d seen from other properties and the district manager happened to be there when I was getting off and I mentioned it to her and she ended up finding out they did approximately 15 other Walmarts in the area. she fired the current company and hired a company I mentioned to her. A week or so later and unknown to me at the time I saw one of the drivers I see on my normal route at the Walmart. That company ended up getting all 15 Walmarts and the owner of that company came and gave me 150 dollar cash for the recommendation after deciding multiple times I accepted it. the next morning the district manger came and thanked me and gave me a 50 dollar gift card for Walmart for the recommendation after deciding multiple times I accepted it. And she said when she got evaluated that all her lots looked good.
The dumper is better. The controls look like missile launchers. If this is intented as base for camper... The dashboard should be made up of - left of console, console, right of console, so that the big part can rotate to make the driver feel like a boss while on the other side. Or something like that. The steering for normal usage should be WRC plug in-out to prevent the mama from sitting in front.
Great video they just put me in the sweeper truck today and told me a lil bit and just let me go this video helped a lot

In our India, cleaning is not done like this. Here people of different castes do the cleaning and food is not eaten with them.

Street sweeping better job more chill and better hours where with dumpster you gotta be more careful and a lot of stops
