Worked for Knight this past year. Been to the Phoenix yard many times, massive parking and driver lounge. Hopefully the money is better for you than it was for me. Was out 3-4 weeks at a time and barely brought home $800 a week. I’m single with no family and still was barely getting by. Hope it works out for you though! They do have great accounts and consistent lanes.
Bruhhh this is true af. I was Mon-Fri and was bringing home like $400 💀💀 best week I had was like $900 but I worked all week.
Damn y'all I work locally in ND home every night. Make between 1300 to 1900 every week after taxes
Daaam I feel it's like that with most companies because I was with stevens transport and it was the same 4-5 weeks out and I would only bring home $800-$1000
@dabd8175 yes it is good money but it sucks for new drives because they won't hired you bc of the insurance they think we don't have enough experience I think if I'm not wrong u have to have more than 2 years of experience or more I live in El Paso Tx and im struggling to find local truck driving jobs
You’ll make more driving local. Especially if you get your tanker & Hazmat endorsements I know circle K starts drivers making 95k+ a year delivering gas all day
I c why knight/swift dont pay good all unnecessary shit at there terminals make sure to get your twic card 4 the ports
Thats all the money they’ve stealing from the drivers
They are proof that drivers are willing to work for low pay for non monetary benefits. I rather make more money and pay the say $30 it costs to go to a bowling alley occasionally and a gym membership.
And thats why I quit the MFS two weeks ago.

No different than apartment complexes charging extra because they have a computer room and conference room that I will never use. Rather live in a basic 1 bedroom apt and have an extra $500 a month
My last truck with knight was a 2023 Volvo it has the best turning radius out of KW’s,Peterbilts,International & freight shakers.

There's bars, clubs, and restaurants downtown phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale. There's outdoor activities like offroading, hiking, boating, paddleboarding, and kayaking.

I worked for Navajo Express Inc they have a yard in Phoenix well actually Tolleson AZ n that is on the same exit as the Love's. Navajo rarely had issues with the pumps at Tolleson yard

I worked for them for 5 years as a O/O and did very well.out of Phoenix all good people. No problems.i retired from Knight in May 2020.

1:15 bro when you are at a home terminal or a terminal with a shop you need to go ask for help because they think the engine running it’s a mechanic doing a PM. Like they are all in the office they won’t come out.
For a minute there I was seriously considering moving to the PHX area I like it down there.

You're on the west side, it sucks. Go to flying j on 59th & i10 and pick up a lot lizard. All the fun stuff in Phoenix is central downtown/uptown - east through Scottsdale & tempe.

My truck was with the same thread from like 5 drivers ago lol. Had a very low thread drive tires that were barely legal and then one day i noticed one of my steers had a deep cut so i got that changed. Some weeks went on then got 2 new drives. So at the end when i quit 2 out of 8 drives were new and 1 steer. A complete shitshow 😂

As far as I know swift is a better company than England. But you’ll have to find out.
Phoenix has been a hell whole for decades Phoenix, you should have researched that before you went there.
Due to the strong Mormon influence, PHX is pretty tame.... But Nature4 and Hiking are great activities,,, South Mountain, Squaw Peak, CamelBack... Popago Park.... Up North you have show low,,,

been with knight and swift both have different setups even if its both under knight I prefer knight but if i was a rookie I would go with swift we have higher number of crashes simple put we have the most trucks next to JB hunt while JB hunt will work you like a dog knight more laid back. Pay aint the best but what I needed was hometime being #1 priority and money 2nd my family isn't a 2nd place its always money 2nd that said swift or knight have more terminals then anyone else and because of that they can get you home more often then some these mom and pop. companies small and big bottom line all they care about is the bottom dollar don't let anyone say different some these small companies say they care but had many relatives get burned from them worse then what big companies do.
