      Yep some of us seen a video and got hooked! I'm in trucking school now. Got my pre trip down and ironing out my incab then im good to roll. my backing manuevers are solid not perfect but i wont struggle at a truck stop lol. Went on the road for 3hrs in my first week aswell never had sat in a semi and drove it forward until this week. Didnt kill anyone or leave my lane. And i was fighting winds too :(

      Who's the enemy?

    • @roostercrow
      @roostercrow Год назад +15

      @@MaynardJamesKeenan09 Sin and pleasure is my enemy.
      I think we all deal some variation of sin. That is the enemy. Sin has fruit, so does righteousness through God and His Son Jesus Christ.
      Sin is the enemy and indulging in it, because it slowly kills its victims, which is you.
      That is why I made my previous comment, because to be honest it made me boil, I wish it was as easy as working a job and stacking wealth but that won’t help not in the short term except pleasure and definitely not in the long term because you will still be empty and miserable, and from my experiences being empty and miserable has it’s fruit. Look around you and you will how miserable and empty most people are without God but with wealth and pleasure.

    If your truck has cab heater, doesn’t it also have a/c through the apu as well so you don’t have run the truck for a/c. As far as your pay goes, making $1200 or more a week is not hard to do. Get you experience at Knight and then move on to a better paying company. They are out there, you don’t have to accept low pay for a long stretch of time. Treat yourself better with a better company

    Ltl is where you need to be for that $1200+ a week bring home. I gross $2250 a week and bring home between $1400-1500 a week driving line haul for Dayton freight. Right now line haul pays 74 cents a mile

In a good month, I can make 40 to 45k to the truck. In a slow month, 20 to 25k. There is absolutely no way I would be gone in my truck for a week and make 1,000 to 1,500 a week.
