I found these kits during the great shut in and I'm hooked. I've finished one medium big one, 2 medium ones and 1 small one. And I just started another medium big one. I've never heard of one day saving, but I've ordered from a couple different sites. And I've got my eye on a few more :D I'm like you. I did counted cross stitch once or twice in my youth, but it was too much. Stamped cross stitch is like my adult fidget spinner! I've even made a travel kit so I can take the project on the go if I want to....gonna go explore the one day website now !
They really are!!! I even bought a bunch from Amazon. I have a few kits that came without, plus they're easy to lose. Plus I've made a travel stitching kit from an Altoid tin and I've got one in there too. I wrapped it with very thin wire so I can keep it on a magnet (needle minder).
I was just thinking, if you don’t complete your Disney project, you could cut it up and frame the scenes you really like. Just a thought ❤ Good luck with your projects.
I have dyscalculia, so trying a counted cross stitch would be a nightmare for me. I can do a stamped cross stitch and embroidery much easier. Thanks for sharing your kits!
Hi Jen! Do you know anything about how the pre-stamped cross stitch is made? Like what kind of printer and what kind of ink? I'd love to make my own designs. Thanks!
Oh that'd be awesome! I don't really know anything about the process though. I do know that once the project is completed, you can wash it and the ink "disappears".
Needle threaders are the silver gadgets. Can U show us some updates of any projects that you've worked on? Thanks for sharing.
I'm working on that very same Disney kit right now.
I think those little silver things might be to help thread the needle.
Ooooohhhh 😲☺️
They are indeed needle threaders
