Borneo, a giant, rugged island in Southeast Asia’s Malay Archipelago, is shared by the Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak, Indonesian Kalimantan and the tiny nation of Brunei. It’s known for its beaches and ancient, biodiverse rainforest, home to wildlife including orangutans and clouded leopards. In Sabah is 4,095m-tall Mount Kinabalu, the island’s highest peak, and, offshore, the famed dive site Sipadan Island.

I went to Borneo Malaysia last year on my 6th Malaysia visit and went around Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Sandakan, Semporna, Mabul and Sipadan Islands, and went to the same park to see the orangutans. Also visited the tiny country of Brunei as well while I was there
Nice to see you managed to slide in a few shots of Borneo in this video of your family.
Thank you for this wonderful video. Sabah is a beautiful place to visit in Borneo.
Thank you and it really is one of our fav destinations 😍😍
@@FieldofVisions Wonderful. 😄
Hi Yasin I am planning to go to Malaysia in August and the first part of my trip will consist of staying in Kota Kinabalu for 5 nights. I have seen from your video you travelled across Sabah flying to Sandakan. Did you take day trips there or did you stay in Sandakan overnight. I wasn’t sure whether to stay in one location in Sabah as I have never travelled to that part of Malaysia before.
@@ash01786 Hi Abdus. I'm from peninsular Malaysia actually, the land bordering with Thailand on the north and with Singapore on the South. Sabah and Sarawak, parts of Malaysia are on the island of Borneo, sharing the land with Brunei and Kalimantan of Indonesia. I've never been to Borneo. If you decide to make Sabah your first stop, you can stay in the capital, Kota Kinabalu for few nights, plan your trip should you decide to visit other places like Sandakan, Semporna or Kundasang, which are quite a distance from the city and probably better you spend at least few more days. If you are arriving Malaysia for the first time, I suggest you visit Kuala Lumpur first, it's the capital of Malaysia and make some time to visit the Petronas Twin Towers in KLCC or visit the malls in Bukit Bintang among other tourists attractions. By the way, where are you coming from, which country? 😀
Thank you for posting this video. Constructive suggestions: we can do without most of the very numerous thumbs up family shots, replace these with clips of the wonderful places which you visited - which is why we are watching your video.I have travelled to remote places for decades and have very mixed feelings regarding these "cultural" visits to local villages - they are intrusive and create a Disneyland atmosphere of peoples homes & culture. Think about how you would feel if slugs of camera yielding foreigners trouped through your village / home daily. We visit as an individual couple, self drive (on whatever side of the road is legal), cameras stowed away, have lunch at the local street vendor / market and watch village life from the side lines. Nothing is perfect, all of us have impact as we travel, but we should strive to avoid industrial tourism.
Thank you so much for the great and informative video!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Hi, thanks for your video. I went to go onto your e guide but the link wasn’t working. I’m really interested in finding out about the transportation you used to get around. Thanks 😊
Hey. Sorry to hear the link wasn’t working. We were revamping our website but should be working now 😊
Let 's go to BORENO
Where did you book island hopping tours in Semporna? How much was it?
We used dive monster. We have so much information is in our guide - linked in the description 🥰
Agree with the above. It’s just teaching that single use plastic is tossed, ruining the ocean, animals and land.
Hey can you please provide the details of travel agency that you took for full day ferry ride including all activities.
Thanks
Hey we used Dive monster 😄
Correct side of the road??
The left!
I born in Sarawak this time I stay at Selangor

JEEZE learn how to SPELL
When you correct someone on their grammar or spelling mistakes, it’s a good rule of thumb to actually use real words in a sentence and present said sentences in a grammatically correct way….
