7:01 I've got a feeling this might've been foreshadowing Wade's transition into weapon 11,when he said "you have that mouth on you Wade" he means to completely seal his mouth shut, when he said "you're the perfect soldier" that's basically him saying that he's the prime candidate to become his weapon
In the very beginning when the man was with young wolverine in the room when he was leaving he said your father is coming that was a clue he wasn't talking about himself then he was talking about the biological father. I loved that detail
Sabertooth was in X-Men (2000) with long hair, claws, sharp teeth and black eyes but we weren't told that he was Logan's half-brother. Different actors portrayed him between that movie and this one.
Nothing to do with the reaction , but one of my fav quotes of wolverine is how he describes that fighting hulk is like going against a walking earthquake. Also minor details like that when is logan birthday , victor always goes to give him a "surprise" in the form of a bloody beating every year. Gambit is not only about cards , his powers can go WAY too far than that and easily be one of the strongest mutants.
The only thing I don't understand is why Wolverine's adamantium claws are blades, but his original claws were knobbly and boney. If the procedure just grafted adamantium to his entire skeleton (with only, like, 8 needles somehow), wouldn't his claws have the same shape, just metallic?
Gambit's power (as far as I can tell) is that he can make anything explode. He uses cards as more of a flourish, being from Louisiana and all. When I first saw this movie I didn't see the twist towards the end. I could feel Logan's nausea when certain points were revealed.
I actually do like a lot of aspects of this movie, even though I can acknowledge it's a bad movie. Ryan Reynolds shouldn't have anything to be ashamed about, he was like the best part of the film. it's Scott Adkins "Deadpool" (Weapon XI) that people hated. Yet people gave Black Widow's Taskmaster a pass for some reason.
I don't think it's a bad movie personally. I feel like there are so many superhero movies that are worse. It's obviously not the best either but in my opinion it isn't bad :)

Most brilliant thing about deadpool is he kept the humour. I particularly like it in deadpool 2 where he goes back in time and kills this version of deadpool then shoot Ryan Reynolds for even looking at the Green Lantern script. You’ve said before you want to stay family friendly. But they did a less graphic version called once upon a deadpool where he tells the story to the kid from the princess bride.
The movie provide as much fun as OG X-Men movies. The biggest factor are the inaccuracies in timelines which they still haven’t correct. Not only does Logon forget his memories, it seems his supposed brother Sabertooth also forget his memories, terrible Deadpool design, Scott being part of these kidnapped mutant kids, Emma is actually younger and supposedly good when she is up there besides Charles and Erik when they were young, Gambit was such a waste opportunity despite great introduction and later vanished without a trace with no sign in other movies. Fox and Sony knows how to assemble a great great cast but they really don’t know how to utilise them according to plot convenience, something that Infinity War did so well with huge amount of characters and their face offs together. I hope Marvel would do these movies justice, now that have the hold of them finally. Also if you guys liked Gambit, then can you please react to John Carter. I’ve never really seen anyone react to it.
Sabertooth originally appeared as a serial killer, in an Iron Fist comic. He wore a bag over his head to hide his features, and was called "The Slasher."
Logan's original power is his regeneration and his bone claw....it forced evolved when the adamantium bonded with his bones and mutation And since his skeletal structure is now pure adamantium covered by flesh ...the healing factor of his ability would only apply to the non metal in him which is cool..seeing and he would stop aging and him brain and body would keep fresh unless the adamantium effect is reversed 😂😂

The one thing I hate about this movie is that they decided to add a "X-men" side plot to it. Like if you take out all the cameos of the mutants who were getting their powers taken, it would've been a great origin film. Also, when Charles first meets Scott (Cyclops), he's still in a wheelchair....I don't understand why he can walk here lmao
I love Liev Schreiber, he's down for whatever and owned Sabertooth in each film. That he practiced running like that was dope. And the Deadpool fight was great. I like the over-the-top action. It's like the animated series, and he is the same. He and Wolverine can have the best fights Wolverine is the definition of "you pissed off the wrong person" 😁. Gambit's ability is he can basically create little explosions. He charges things, it was fun the way he was knocked out in the animated show, and he touched a tree in passing it charged and blew up. He is also good with the bow. He chooses cards because they're cheap, and you get dozens of them. The movie exaggerated with them floating. But they gotta be flashy right. If you want more Jackman movies Prisoners is a great watch.👍
This film definitely has its issues (mainly how they handled Deadpool, & the continuity w/ the other X-Men films), but I acc liked it a lot tbh, especially the action. I also liked the version of Sabretooth we got in this film, even tho it kinda retcons the first X-Men film. The relationship between them in this film is a great way to explain their rivalry. Plus, I think it's cool that Victor/ Sabretooth runs like a werewolf lol 27:2427:3030:21
It looks crazy when Wade Wilson aka Deadpool runs into the room an just cuts up all the bullets...best part is Ryan Reynolds recreated it in Deadpool 2 sort of, he gets a bunch of bullet holes in him an doesnt reflect any 😂 he must have realized how ridiculous the original scene was
This has the absolute best opening scene of any X-Men movie. The rest however does leave a bit to be desired. I actually just found another thing thing that is complete BS in it. The gun guy makes fun of Logan for making $18000 a year as a lumberjack. Lumberjacks get paid well well up on the higher end of manual labor jobs. Like bosses in the lumberjack business makes 6 figures easy a lot of the lumberjacks do too. It is right up there with mining, Lobster and crab fishing, And oil Derek workers. They are some of the most hazardous jobs there are and you get paid accordingly.
He aged normally until his mid twenties, and his ageing slowed down because I'm pretty sure he was fully developed. The reason his ageing slowed? it is widely accepted that damage to genetic material, cells and tissues that accumulates with age and cannot be repaired by the body is the cause of the loss of function associated with ageing, but his healing can actually repair that damage, so he lives longer. The adamantium in his body is actually poisoning it as well, so his healing is constantly fighting against that. If it wasn't, he'd probably live even longer than he would without it.
It would be cool to see Gambit in the MCU when they finally introduce mutants. I'm not too familiar w/ his character since I don't read the comics (I've only seen him this & the animated shows), but he definitely seems like an interesting character & his powers seem cool asf lol.
His power in the comics were basically just super healing. In the comics they not only fused his skeleton with adamantium but implanted the claws in his arms. Later they changed his origin to where he had the bone claws as one of his original powers which they also used for this movie. Of course that is a bit weird because why don't the just look like metal bone claws instead of perfectly formed blades right? But yes he can only be killed by cutting off his head. The only mutant to ever survive decapitation was Deadpool, who's healing is even better than Logan's. As far as the experiments...Logan was the trial run for subject 11. In this version of the story they are creating a super mutant soldier with the Weapon X project, which is who Logan is and which will lead to the final outcome in this movie...Weapon XI...a weird version of Deadpool. So the biggest complaints about this movie is how they strayed from the lore and all of the plot holes they left. Logan doesn't have his memory now, but why doesn't Sabertooth remember his brother in the first one. How could they mess of Deadpool so bad. They didn't like the casting or lack of accent for Gambit. Stuff like that. I don't let that stuff bother me. I actually like the movie anyway.
How do we know Sabertooth didn't remember that Logan is his half-brother in X-Men (2000)? Sabertooth took Logan's dog tags and we know from this movie that for a period at least they were at odds, estranged.

"I'm the best at what I do, and what I do isn't very nice."
-James 'Logan' Howlett/Wolverine
yes its deadpool, they already called him wade wilson which is his real name
7:01 I've got a feeling this might've been foreshadowing Wade's transition into weapon 11,when he said "you have that mouth on you Wade" he means to completely seal his mouth shut, when he said "you're the perfect soldier" that's basically him saying that he's the prime candidate to become his weapon
In the very beginning when the man was with young wolverine in the room when he was leaving he said your father is coming that was a clue he wasn't talking about himself then he was talking about the biological father. I loved that detail
I usually just watch the Gambit parts of this movie. I really wish they had done more with him!
can't wait for the reaction of Logan 😍
One of my favorite scenes is actually in the opening when he's going through the different war timelines. I wrote a story based on a similar character
I really hope you guys react to X-Men Evolution some day, that animated series was amazing
It gets the hate because of how they treated the Deadpool character but Ryan Reynolds fixed it in post credits of Deadpool 2.
Whoa, that's sorta OP
Gambits mutation let's him store and control kinetic energy in objects, usually playing cards.
Not explosions, the blasts are after effects of stored kinetic energy being released at once.
I noticed your Azusa Pacific University shirt! I’m an alumni from there! Class of 2004.
Oh heck yeah!!! Might b going there next spring
@@whitenoisereacts It’s a great school. I graduated with a BS in Applied Health.
I loved this movie 🔥🥰... Hugh Jackman too❤😘
I actually really liked this movie!!!
victor is sabre tooth who was also in the orignal movies but not related to wolverine he was on magnetos side
Thanks for saying that about Gambit because I’m a fan of Gambit and I from New Orlean
Because at least Taskmaster had the same power set. Deadpool in this was just an amalgamation of bullshit.
@@THG-3141 the only powers they added were the laser eyes. The swords (although not FROM his body), he has those. The regeneration powers, he has those. Even the teleportation is something Deadpool can actually do.
@@oliviarogers2808 he uses devices to teleport, it's not an ability. Neither are retractable blades. That's Wolverine. The only powers Deadpool actually has is an insane healing factor and breaking the 4th wall. That's it. Everything else he does is product of tech and/or infinity gems. Swords are not an ability. They're items. Retractable Adamantium swords coming out of your arms, is. In this movie he is literally an amalgamation of others mutants abilities.
@@oliviarogers2808 oh, and let's not exclude the fact they removed the defining feature of Deadpool. His mouth. He's literally known and the Merc with a Mouth and they removed it. This dude literally talks Galactus into submission, and they removed his mouth. There's absolutely nothing Deadpool about this version. The closest they get is when he's still Wade Wilson and Ryan is playing him
I REALLY LIKE THIS MOVIE AS HUGH JACKMAN NAILED IT AGAIN AS WOLVERINE. LOVED THE ORIGIN STORY IN THIS ONE AS HE WAS A REAL BAD ASS IN THIS FILM, THEY SHOWED HIS BROTHER, HIS FAMILY AND HIS PAST👏👏👍
I assume you guys havent seen the 90's animated X men, I dont know how would it hold up, but the intro is SO GOOD really recommend to watch it :D
Naw, but I’d be down!
Yes great movie I grew up watching
yes the sabertooth in this is supposed to the same from X-men
Ok cool!
Please watch The Rogue Cut of Days of Future Past when you get up to it!
Love the reaction always guys.... if you didn't recognize ... the guy who controls everything in his mind.. was MERRY of the lord of the rings..DOMINIC MONAGHAN.. ... and zero wa the voice actor of Tadashi of BIG HERO 6.. ....
This is my favorite of all the X-men movies!
When Scott had the thing on his eyes he didn’t know which way to go so xsavia was using his mind to speak to Scott through his mind telling him which way to go on how to get out so everyone would think Scott was the one that knew the way out
Most brilliant thing about deadpool is he kept the humour.
Yoo 5:20 wtf is wrong with you 😂😂😂 you good my brother?? What language was that lmfaooo
I think gambit gives things kinetic energy. A human gun with anything you give him
If James mangold directed this with a few rewrites and rated R this would have been fucking gold
Good thing I didn't know who Deadpool was when I saw this movie
He's been badass since his childhood.
Its my favorite X-men movie (yes), I love Liev's Sabretooth.
Sabertooth originally appeared as a serial killer, in an Iron Fist comic. He wore a bag over his head to hide his features, and was called "The Slasher."
Also I love both versions of Deadpool
Deadpool is overpowered -- I hate-hate that. Wade Wilson clones went to school with me --- as a character I LOVE-HATE him so much.
first off, I never knew that the actor for Charlie from lost was in this. Secondly, this movie was great for the time, but hasnt aged well at all.
Hey guys so Deadpool series are part of this xmen series/universe too. So react to them too in proper order yeah
Wolverines powers are pretty self explanatory. He has retractable claws. And regeneration.
Logan's original power is his regeneration and his bone claw....it forced evolved when the adamantium bonded with his bones and mutation
And since his skeletal structure is now pure adamantium covered by flesh ...the healing factor of his ability would only apply to the non metal in him which is cool..seeing and he would stop aging and him brain and body would keep fresh unless the adamantium effect is reversed 😂😂
12:02 the green screen outside of the car too obvious.. lol .
Apparently Wolverine can regenerate if even one single cell remains.
So how can he ever die?
That's deadpool, wolverine will die if you cut his head off. Deadpool can come back from a single cell. Wolverine's healing is great but not the best.
@@chadwood4412 my bad. I used to know all this stuff back when I collected comics etc but it's been a while and there's a lot of characters with similar abilities. So thanks for the correction.
@@buddykaiser2380 you're good, it's a simple mistake.
This movie had such potential! But they spent everything in nowhere!
His brother is Saber tooth
Not my favourite X-men movie at all but it has some great moments, like the whole opening sequence, the different powers and Gambit I wish we would see him again with that actor too he was great ! Can't wait for you to react to First Class one of the best X-men and superhero movie ever !!
I still love this movie till this day
The one thing I hate about this movie is that they decided to add a "X-men" side plot to it. Like if you take out all the cameos of the mutants who were getting their powers taken, it would've been a great origin film. Also, when Charles first meets Scott (Cyclops), he's still in a wheelchair....I don't understand why he can walk here lmao
Yeah, they couldn't decide what they wanted to do
Maybe this Charles is an illusion
@@ElKamaleon777 But that still wouldn’t make sense lol
@@atari303 Charles can do that with his power
Do the x men prequles and new mutints, and deadpool!!!!😃😎
I love Liev Schreiber, he's down for whatever and owned Sabertooth in each film. That he practiced running like that was dope. And the Deadpool fight was great. I like the over-the-top action. It's like the animated series, and he is the same. He and Wolverine can have the best fights
Wolverine is the definition of "you pissed off the wrong person" 😁.
If you want more Jackman movies Prisoners is a great watch.👍
afaik, Liev was Sabertooth in only one film, this one. He was not in X-Men (2000).
Wait What!?! …Wait Whaat!?? Wait WHAAAAAAT?!?!?😂
Sounds like somebody enjoying a twist.
Plus, I think it's cool that Victor/ Sabretooth runs like a werewolf lol 27:24 27:30 30:21
By the way wolverine he can age his just slowly going old
Lucky Deadpool will get his revenge on stitch this Movie version mouth later on the Deadpool Franchise
Lighting courtesy of Storm 😊
A very young Troye Sivan as the child Wolverine made my day.
Yes! He was adorable! And still is now, of course!
Can't wait for 1st class
who would've known that this wade wilson in origins is the deadpool we know today 😂
You guys should really watch Deadpool, such a good Marvel movie
This movie is the reason Ryan Reynolds pushed to get the Deadpool movie we know now.
i will wait your reaction for The Wolverine (2013)
Will that reaction hold you off from starting the rumbling?? Lol
@@whitenoisereacts 🤣 maybe
It would be cool to see Gambit in the MCU when they finally introduce mutants.
I'm not too familiar w/ his character since I don't read the comics (I've only seen him this & the animated shows), but he definitely seems like an interesting character & his powers seem cool asf lol.
I was thrilled when X Men came out. Blade is a good one too. It’s good to see everyone coming together in the Disney MCU.
Awesome 👏
Love you guys reactions I hope can react to deadpool 1 and 2 next week maybe whatever works for you.
Yeah that’s understandable
How do we know Sabertooth didn't remember that Logan is his half-brother in X-Men (2000)? Sabertooth took Logan's dog tags and we know from this movie that for a period at least they were at odds, estranged.
A continuity error is that he doesn't have a hole in the skull on X-Men (2000)'s ray-x exam.
Weapon 1 by the way…. Captain America
I honestly love this movie I just hate what they did to Wade Wilson aka Deadpool. How they made him into like a mindless weapon only to kill him off.
Here Ryan Reynolds plays Fox's version of Deadpool. Not the Marvel/Reynolds version of awesome Deadpool.
When are you going to watch ”shutter island”??
how powerful are Cyclops' eyelids
Please watch the movie Logan, I can guarantee you guys will love it
Watch all X-men movies in their production order, you can skip Days of Future Past and Apoycalype and Dark Phoenix if you want to. Just make sure you watch Logan last.
