Whoa, those dinosaur bedsheets take me back! They still make them or did one of y'all keep it from childhood? Anyway, that was a nice bonus surprise because I'm researching the Rivian for purchase, lol. Thanks for making the video!
We kept them since childhood! I thought someone might recognize them cause these were the cool sheets back in the day and literally every kid had them! Thanks for watching!
@@MacMcIntire yes it takes only seconds to detach and it becomes a standalone tent. Super convenient when you want to drive somewhere and leave the tent at camp.
The cause was due to the evaporator freezing, which is a known issue that a software update will fix. However, no timeframe was given on when the software update would be released. They did recharge my refrigerant and ran a bunch of tests with pass results. I’m planning on running an overnight camp mode test on my driveway to make sure there’s no issues before taking the Rivian out camping again.
I done a lot of camping and have never been to or heard of a place that let's you bring a vehicle into the camp site. Sounds like fun but I haven't seen that. Most places are drop off and park elsewhere, boat to, or hike to camp sites
@@tonymars.official just went camping over the weekend, and there were no issues with the HVAC. Set the climate at 70 degrees, and was comfortable all night. Battery went from 71% down to 63%. No errors the next morning.
Awesome Video. Thank you so much. We are picking up our Rivian this weekend and plan to Camp as well.
This looks awesome

If you wanted to, could you detach the tent and drive your Rivian somewhere? Or is it too much of a hassle?

Looks great! Wondering where the child seats go when you set up the car for sleeping?
Thanks! The child seats go up to the front seats.
I love your LED candles, where did you find these?

@@Miu_Tube THANK YOU 🤩 and I hope your climate control in camp mode gets fixed soon.
Did Rivian definitively resolve the HVAC issue?
