I'm an EFL teacher in Brazil and playing ETS2 and ATS for years has encouraged me to change my driver's license from AB (motorcycle and car) to E. I'm going to D, and then E (can't go straight to E). E can drive anything. I don't know if my enthusiasm will keep high as I approach the reality of trucking, but I won't know if I don't try. I've recently covered Kiel in ETS2, and watching this is awesome for me too.
My dad has been a truck driver ever since he got out of the military (got his licence there too) he first worked the whole week without seeing his family. Only weekends he was back home. He also was quite underpaid and worked 12hours on the road. He recently changed to a smaller truck/van so he can return home everyday unless if he is travelling in another country. I kinda feel bad for him.
I watch these to relax. That starting with the exact same alarm I have. Instantly depressed me. Thankfully the rest of the video was incredible. Really enjoyed this. Thank you
Bro I am new truck driver just got my first job.ur video is very helpful, the turns the check of the road and traffic how u switch lanes everything.i just wish the roads and the drivers where nicer in my country, they make our life difficult, no one waits no one wants to be behind you so they rush in front of you and more...but still we manage to do our jobs. Greetings from the United States! I always thought European trucks look a lot better than the bottle nose trucks we have here in the States. They just look so modern. Love it.
They are better to handle and they have very good visibility but american trucks look way comfier. European is great for getting the job done and american is great for living in it
@@projectx5154 that and the fact that because the USA has way more straight roads (interstates and highways) than Europe the American truck is allowed to be longer than European trucks that need to drive through urban and narrow areas. there's also a difference in rules regarding the length a truck is allowed to be (Europe is 18.75m including the cab and USA is around 20m not including the cab)
Your content to me,is educative and inspired.I really appreciate you for such content Continue with such good work and inspiring up coming truck drivers.
What you did in the place you loaded your truck.. I couldn't even succeed doing it in ETS. Thanks for doing this POV trucking. Great to watch.. And your driving is awesome!!

Aaa yes alarm 😂 typical twinkle samsung alarm 😊 side note smoking kills people slowly without realising it... stay safe bud and stay strong.. life can be cheerful without smoking or drugs etc. ❤
You know what kills me more than a cigarette in the morning? It's the sound of the alarm buzzing my ears when I was having a beautiful dream 😅😂. I know that it isn't healthy but that's my only addiction apart from truck driving 😉😏
It's really entertaining to watch. I keep thinking about getting a truck license and getting a job as a driver but I'm not sure if it's because I'm having a blast playing ETS2 or that's something I'd like to do. I heard few people claming that being a truck driver isn't as fun as in games but damn I'm watching this vid and it looks like a lot of fun. Would you reccomend trying to get into this line of work ? Greetings from Poland 🙂
It's hard to tell you if you should do it or not. For some people, truck driving is just a job to get some money but for others is an addiction. I love what I do but be aware that in the real world things are much different than the game...
Pros: - A great sense of freedom (under the careful surveillance and tracking by your employer) - Get to explore the lands (assuming you're not in line-hauling/distribution which means driving the exact same route every single day/week) - No stupid meetings (instead you get stupid calls from dispatch asking you to do more/solve unforeseen problems) - A decent salary (if you can stomach 10-14 work days everyday and or sleeping in the truck for weeks on end i.e. not having a life at all) Cons: - Terrible unhealthy and sedetary lifestyle - One of the most dangerous jobs in the world with constant exposure to personal harm and injury - Stress from driving in cites, around bikes and pedestrians, backing up in narrow spots, blocking traffic - Huge fines if you miss the complicated EU regulations about how much youre driving - Constant stress from deadlines that you have to fit into your driving time - Truck stops are deteroriating due to lack of investments so they are often full, under-serviced and you will often see truckers park in the emergency lane coming out from the truck stop because its is full Truck was once a good career, now its a sweat factory on wheels. Many Poles come to Denmark to drive because they can earn 4-5x as much here, and then they send it back home. But these guys have no life at all. They live in trailer stops sometimes for years, only going home to a real bed on vacations. Its easy to glorify the lifestile in ETS2 because you can turn it off. Reality is that trucking is super extremely boring once you have driven for a few hours time. This is my opinion and I have experience in the industry. I do local distribution now because I appreciate having a life and going home everyday.
I am your colleague i drive a truck aswell, in Euro Truck Simulator 2 but it's all the same 🤣... Love watching you drive. Having your own truck is 10 better then driving for some company
Nostalgia. My uncle owned his own truck for the better part of 20 years, so I'd travel the USA in the summer. Winter sucked, because there was a draft around the doors. He eventually bought one of those upright space heaters to combat the chill.
Driving a truck is very tiring, especially in harsh conditions here in Algeria. Truck owners drive thousands of kilometers across the desert. You can imagine what the driver would be like in an atmosphere of at least 50 degrees 😅 Anyway, I wish you a great trip.
Its always the people that do hard jobs that sound like their the friendliest 😂😂. Great video bro you make me want to take out my car now and go for a drive.
Hey! just discovered your channel, I love POV of peoples jobs, and especially driving. My dad was a long haul truck driver in the states before he retired so it's kind of nostalgic to see and hear the same sights and sounds of the truck. In your cab, what is the on the tablet beside your GPS? My best guess is an electronic drivers log? Keeping track of how many hours you drive a day? Anyways, thanks for the content!
You're right. The screen you mean displayed [at least at the beginning of the video] the remaining time the driver has left until its daily limit to abide german traffic rules. It entitles "Verbleibende Tageslenkzeit" wich translated to "Remaining Daily Steer Time". Alongside there is also visualizer how much time he spent driving.
In Thailand they prefer Volvo Scania 410-460 hp. Trucks in Thailand are very expensive. They are taxed the same as cars. because it is a luxury product I think they should reduce the tax on trucks. Because Thailand has a lot of steep roads The driver runs the risk of running out of power in the middle of stressing him Japanese trucks are cheap but there is very little safety and driver support. The suspension is not as soft as European trucks.
In Pakistan its same Japanese trucks are cheaper but European modern trucks are considered luxury and taxed heavily Only major transportation companies can afford them
I wish ETS3 will also have a hunger bar and they include the driver to walk in Gasoline Station and Truck stops to buy some food. anyway a crossing without traffic light. must be nice living their

@@Youtrucker_pt yes, truck driver work is hard. for example, in Russia, where i live, there are a lot of fools on the road, and very dangerous.
