    Why did you skip videoing the removal of the valve cover, I mean that's the whole point in replacing the gasket.

    90 ft lbs for the valve cover bolts? Or 90 inch lbs?

    • @user-ys9ke5cj1n
      @user-ys9ke5cj1n Год назад +1

      Definitely 90 inch or just hand tight moderately. I broke mine doing 90ftlb as he said honest mistake though. and now hoping I can get someone to pull out the broken part it’s so small so I’m praying it can be drilled through and be taken out got to go to junk yard pray I find the bolt

      @@B.Dizzler93 yea dude trust me just do moderately hand tight those bolts are also end threaded so once once it reaches where the threads end if you go to tight you’ll snap it.

      Too bad you don't have the 4.3 - I use to feel the same way when I first got the truck. Not anymore. By the time I am done this 4.3 will be making nice power and one day, I will put a V8 in it, but I'm going to have fun with this V6 first. Everybody just wants to engine swap. Same is lame. You might want to recheck your torque value's inch pounds not foot pound's so about 7.4 foot pounds. You squished your gaskets. I have come close to doing this several times.

    your engine internals have a ton of build up. Throw a can of seafoam in the engine oil, drive it for 500 miles, change oil. It will help get rid of that crud and should run smoother.
