Thank you very much! Well ignorance is bliss, I knew it would be an ambitious project, but I didn't expect it to be that challenging. It's fun to challenge ourselves from time to time. Thanks for watching :)

Great job, wowza 18pcs 😲😲. You are right, I measure myself for every pattern and as of late I'm learning what adjustments I automatically have to make no matter the pattern. The jacket turned out great and looks good on you.

Hi Andréanne, what a fantastic tutorial and thank you so much for showing us 👍. It's definitely something I will be trying now as I have had my eye on that pattern for a while I feel a bit more confident about it now 😊. I love you for letting us know your mistakes as it makes us feel more human about ours 😉. Your coat looked amazing and a huge well done for making it 👌💞😁😘

Dear Andreanne. Thank you for this video. I want to make a trenchcoat pretty much like this. But I dont know how can I sew yoke and drawstring line. I have not sewed before. Finally I will draw my pattern and I will sew easily because of you. Thank you again. 👏👏👏❤️

I have lots of cordura. I use it to line leather bags but it would be perfect for this, I think. It's waterproof - fabric one side (it looks like it is a twill weave) and polyurethane coated the other. www.profabrics.co.uk/collections/medium-weight-water-resistant/products/300-denier-uv-resistant-polyester?variant=8337195779

Well done Andreanne - What a result! You have inspired me. I am about to tackle Simplicity S8843 (once I have tracked down a washed blue canvas in the exact right shade).
