I really wanted to say thanks for the step by step directions. I did another pattern for a child's coat and was a little confused throughout. I also didn't realized how new this pattern was, but I accomplished and completed. Well I have to work on the buttons. I am very proud of myself. Thanks!

WOW❣️❣️your video is amazing.. I sew a little, simple things, because sewing pattern were so confusing for me.. so what I do is go to thrift stores buy a skirt or something and take apart and use it as a pattern..but after watching your videos and learning how patterns work i’m eager to go buy a pattern for a dress and try it. Thank you so much for your wonderful videos and instructions.👏🏼👏🏼❤️❤️❤️💕

Using premade garments is an excellent way to start sewing! When doing simple skirts and dresses that way that's essentially what the pattern would be plus maybe a facing. Get patterns but definitely keep deconstructing too!

    Hi @Dee-cg2fx
I had the same issue and just made a fold so that it fitted in. 😊
I am on my number two jacket and are gonna make a third for my. I have made them all with a lining of two-sidet teddybear quilt. It was challenging at times😉 and the fabric is a thick camo.
My adult son got the first one and he loves it now that the temperature is close to -15 celcius ❄️

Yes, just a regular sewing machine, they all do the same thing. Nearly all her stitches are straight stitches. I have a $40 Ikea sewing machine and I was able to make a similar coat (and I have very, very basic skills). I made a lot of mistakes but eventually got it right. I first did it on an old curtain I had for practice.
