    I think you can also go crazy if you start adding the 7ths, then you could do:
    G, Gmaj7, G7, Gaum, Gm, Gm7, Gm(b5), Gm7(b5), Gm(maj7), Gdim, Gdim7;
    C, Cmaj7, C7, Cm, Cm7, Cm(maj7), C#m(b5), C#m7(b5);
    Eb, Ebmaj7, Eb7, Em, Em7, Em(b5), Em7(b5), Em(maj7);
    Abmaj7, Abm(maj7), A7, Am7, Am7(b5).
    For a total of 32 arpeggios! 🥲
    Definitively a nice way to practice arpeggios, never thought of practicing them like this! Thanks prof. Bushkova!!

    Thank you, Julia! Beautiful demonstration. This will help me move on from my 5 simple major arpeggios.

    Hi Teacher Julia. I follow you. Thanks for your videos (youtube). I'm learning a lot. I study viola in a free social project. I am beginner. I am very happy with your classes (videos). I don't speak English, but I'm studying English to better enjoy the classes. I'm 60 years old. I think when I'm 90, I'll play better. Thank you very much. I am Lui .

    Such a great way to practice arpeggios! Especially, I love the routine to play 7 arpeggios together, and with this routine you played G Minor, G Major, E Minor, C Major, C Minor, 7th Diminished, and Dominant 7th arpeggios. The missing one is Eb Major, right? Thank you so much professor Bushkova.

      @ViolinClassUSA  Год назад +2

      ZhongweiLi, this is correct - with seven arpeggios, the E flat Major will be missing.

    • @ViolinClassUSA
      @ViolinClassUSA  Год назад +1

      I do not use any books of scales, I just play scales and arpeggios with whatever fingerings that are most comfortable and natural. If you are interested as a student (or for a student), please write to my channel's email!

      I use a very old version of Gewa, I think, from 1940s. It belonged to my father, and it was also adjusted by a luthier.

      These fingerings are written in many books. They might be in the Carl Flesch book, too. I play them from my own head:) - I do not use any scale books

    1:00 the first 5 notes are the opening of some movement in a concerto but I can't seem to remember which concerto, can anyone do lol?

    • @ViolinClassUSA
      @ViolinClassUSA  Год назад +2

      It is just a G minor arpeggio. The G minor arpeggio IS used in the opening of the Bruch violin concerto.

    going from CM to Cm seems like a waste of time. Id rather exercise relative keys and substitution chords. This academic stuff gets boring real quick. I enjoy the old style of teaching as it’s important, but it doesn’t help engage a young student.

      The whole point if to be able to play many arpeggios from the same bass note.
