Hello Chris. Your video is the reason why changing tires has become a piece of cake for me. I travel a lot with my car & having a flat tyre in the middle of a highway while it's 48 Celsius degrees in the middle east summer makes it deadly to use a traditional jack. I just bought the 5-tons version of this jack & it's fabulous & super fast & easy to use. Thank you so much for your great help & encouragement. God bless you 😀
The impact was plenty to break the lugs loose while jacked. Great ideal to chock the wheels, we keep folding chock with this kit. Most the time when I get a flat most the time all I need is a plug, so we keep a plug kit as well.
I just saw your video, I'm a person with a physical disability (left leg) and this jack fits perfect to my needs. I cannot afford to take more risks by using traditional tools. As soon I saw this video, I went to Amazon web site and bought mine. Thank you!!!!
I know you didn't have to explain it that well, but i appreciate it. I bought my mother one for the sole reason that she can't use a jack or change a tire, and she drives alone most weekdays. Road assistance helps, but like you commented below, that could be up to an hour depending on where you are, and how busy they are.You explained it amazingly. Keep it up, you earned a subscriber.
Thank you for the kind words! This is great for loved ones, after my wife was out of town and got stuck on the side of the road waiting for assistance, this would have greatly helped her. She has MS and is not as strong as when we met in the military. So of the comment here state to just use a floor jack, hat to see their mom or wife on the side of the road with that.
The joys of getting older! After a few of the projects on this channel, sometimes it is a little hard to move the next day. Did some major upgrades to our jeep, just not as young as I usta be.
For all of you who would rather use your floor jack to lift your car, please keep doing that. We don't represent this company, we just have the jack! We still use the jack and like it, it really gives me, peace of mind when my wife drives alone. We have the roadside assistant service, but depending on your location, she could be on the road for hours before help arrives. With this jack, my wife can jack the car with the press of a button, remove the lugs with the impact, and get back on the road. This reduces the amount of time she may be in an unsafe area.
Is it low enough to fit under a car with a flat tire though? I know that sounds like a silly question but in the video it looked kind of snug with the tire aired up.
Great concept. I don't personally think it would hold up over time though. The motor on that thing sounds rough and I don't imagine that "impact" could tighten the lug nuts up to as tight as they should be. I stick with the old school 4 way and regular jack.
You are welcome to stick with what works for you, this is for my wife! I still use this jack and it still works great. The impact will over torque the lug nuts if you are not careful, and you should always check your lug nuts with a torque.
I hope it works better that the one I bought! Just received mine in the mail and all I got was an empty box from another company. Broke my heart because I'm without a job and can't afford to buy another one
Sorry to hear. We only leave links to Amazon for things like this because you can dispute with them, If you bought it with a credit card, you may try to have the charges reversed there.
You showed the lifting of the car when your tyre was inflated, it didn’t look like it would fit under your car if the tyre was flat. Have you tested that?
The rear tire. The Turbo ATS is a very low car, the rest of the cars we use this on the smallest tire is a 32 inch. I also used this on a full size truck to rotate the tires.
The kit is a great concept however it looks to be just a rung up the ladder from a toy...only for emergencies! I don't know how it would fare with my Deville. I carry a good 12v compressor and a serious DeWalt 1/2" cordless impact which will effortlessly raise and lower the factory jack if I have to use it...3ton floor jack for use at home with stands. A real heavy duty version of that kit might be great!
Well I can say that it is not a toy, and I was about to lift the tire of a full-size chevy truck with it, and for the color, it is an emergency kit, you don't want to get mowed down on the road cause people can't see you. If what you have works for you, don't change it, but this is an option for people that don't have anything.
I am in absolute agreement with you on the emergency utility however I opted for tools that can stand up to daily use if needed and my plan allows for use in regular maintenance work all over the car. You would never use that impact to do a brake job or change out suspension/front end parts. As I said, I like the concept...a good "trunk box"!
...if you can fit it into the tightly packed spaces of your car. I drive a Deville DHS which is a good bit bigger than your Caddy and you have even less room to work than I do!
I never use my trunk in my car, I have a truck, plus my car has run flats on it, but I did plug the tire in a later video. I did really use this jack to fix a tire on my car, you can see the video here. ruclips.net/video/gbGOHv5er5E/видео.html
My daughter just bought one to use on her Jeep Wrangler. She did a test usage with it w/video for me and worked perfect. Nice tool to have in the auto. Only thing I would like to see added to the kit is wheel chocks to keep vehicle from rolling.
It is really great when parents teach their children how to do things on their own. Yes the plastic chocks should do the trick. When I was a kid all I had was a block of wood to put behind the tire.
The jack should be demonstrated with the tire flat, it seams like with the tire fully inflated the jack fit snugly, and with the tire completely flat the jack will not fit under the car.
Great info. You do those videos very well. Thank you. Greeting from a Texas family in FL. We are so close to sharing what boat we found Would to a full boat review soon
Then impact seem plenty strong for what it is, an emergency kit for one the side of the road for tire repair.. No, we would not open a mechanic shop using this for daily repairs.
Drive the flat tyre up on to a kerb or a piece of timber until the car is high enough to fit the jack. Even full tissue box will lift the car high enough. Drive it up onto the crappy scissor jack that comes standard.
I recently purchased a new Mustang and was advised by the salesman, it does not come with a spare tire nor jack. I will purchase this product, along with a spare tire ASAP.
We keep plugs and pliers in this kit to that we can fix a tire quickly with a nail in it. Here is us plugging a tire on our jeep. ruclips.net/video/ko9eHHpQVkY/видео.html
Thanks mate. You were great in explaining everything. Very clear. Just 1 thing , when putting air into your tyre, was 1 of the cords🔌 plugged in to the car ? To get the air inflator going ?
Those things work better if the engine is running. The tool will be stronger, and you'll be less likely to kill your battery if its already weak or near the end of it's life
Yes, the impact does secure the wheel better then most can tighten the lugs with a 4 way. Even when you torque a wheel with a torque wrench, it is good to check them again, I have had a wheel come off when out trailing a day after getting new tires installed from an tire store.
Looks like a great product that does what it's supposed to. Only thing I take issue with is where you jacked the car up. Looks like it's in a driveway which usually means an incline. Cardnal rule of changing a tire is NEVER on an incline, always a flat level surface. Please clarify if it is or is not on an incline

Works fine, I put the measurements in the video. If your car drags on speed bumps, this jack probably won't work for you. We alls used this on our other cars, but they have 33 and 35's, also used this jack on them.

Many thanks. Very well explained. My question is about the safety valve. Should I keep it on tight or loose. Turning clockwise loosens and vice versa. So should keep it on tight or loose or somewhere in between?
Sure looks like a useful too but then reality came crashing in, how often do I change a tire? how much room does this take up? Plus the drudgery of replacing a tire reminds me not to be doing stupid things that make my tires flat.
Thanks for sharing. How's this holding up after a while of use? Warranty says 1 year, and some amazon reviews mentioned it failing before that and the company ignoring them
We used the dog crap our of this on most of our DIYs. After 6 years the button failed for lowering the jack while doing a project on our jeep. I have not looked at fixing this because we are currently looking to downsize cause our kids have all moved.
We are glad you like the jack per our video. We don't sell this, just did a review. We left a link in the description of the video for the jack on Amazon, no clue how much to send this to the Tanga.
I always recomend a torque wrench to check your lugs later. Most people I've seen put tires on, including tire repair places, don't check the torque. Personally I have had a front tire come off just after getting new tire at a tire shop, there was damage to the front brake that they fixed, but this could have been worst. In the end you have to do right for you.
You at least need to hand start them so that you don't cross-thread the lugnuts. We did tighten them a little longer than needed by hand, but just so we don't want people blaming us when they screwup their lugnut stud.
The jack didn't actually lift high enough to clear the tire off the ground. And plus you don't want to over torque your lugs as that will strip them when putting the tire back on.
If the jack did not go up high enough, you did not watch the video before you bought, I clearly show the minimum and max height. You can over torque anything if you work at it, I have broke off lug nut studs with a 4 way.
I have this jack here in UAE it's very helpful and can lift up to 3Tons. Even the police officer was amaze when they saw me helping an Irishman in less than 5 mins I remove the flat tyre and put the spare Tyre
ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS INFORMATION VIDEO.I Don't know how you possible remember all those instructions WITHOUT having them written down .you should consider making it a career ,making videos'.I'm sure companies would pay you a lot of money to advertise for them .THANK YOU .THANK YOU .THANK YOU .
I do work in process development, and I have made instructional videos since I have been doing this on RUclips. I started this channel to improve myself and hone my skills, could not think of a more critical audience then this.
I bought this 6 months ago, but has not been using it, I want make use of it but the pressure rod is not moving up proper, very slow in movement, what will I do?
Yep, have you used it and tested with a torque wrench, would trust it for emergency use. It's great for handicap, and elderly people that want to tighten their lugs or take them off.
Modern cars don't take those round fuses anymore..and secondly that impact wrench won't last very long because the way it impacts that shock load will destroy the mechanism
They only offer a three and 5 ton jack now and I have links in the description. You can also see the video where I lift our truck with 35 inch tires on it in the description. For 35 inch tire it will take the air compressor quite a while to fill it up from completely flat.
Well that's strange because the front part of the truck is heavier than the back part, and our truck has 35 inch tires on it and I can still lift it with this jack. Also you should only lift one tire at a time putting the Jack under the spring.
As a mechanic, I really would not trust the Jack. The gun seems ok, like it does the job just fine. I think the gun is a really good design in regards to how the internal hammer “impacts”. It’s cheap but efficient. But I would not trust that Jack. I feel as though it’s less safe than a traditional scissor Jack that’s in your trunk.
The jack will work in a pinch and is more for those that can't use a mechanical jack due to physical limits. This is also why I showed jacking the car as little as possible so you don't really have to lift the tire. The impact would really help my wife, at 115 lbs she can never break the lugs lose.
these jacks are pretty well useless for cars with a flat. The cars sit too low to fit the jack underneath. Great for changing tires though. Or try and put air in the flat to raise the car high enough to fit the jack underneath or raise the vehicle, from another spot, high enough to block it up or carry a small jack stand. Then use the jack at the proper jack point. Thanks for the video.
It's did work on this car with a flat and had no issue. Our current cars a 33 inch tire is the smallest. We did put measurements in the video, you have to make sure the product is right
Here, at the end of this video I put a torque wrench on the lugs after I tighten them with the impact that comes with the kit. ruclips.net/video/gbGOHv5er5E/видео.html
It has a plastic casing, the jack is metal, and the bottom under the jack is metal. The orange plastic is easy to clean off and it is easier to see at night.
I know right, I have lost skin on my knuckles from the manual jacks. It really does make it easy, what I really like is the impact, it loosened factory tightened lugs.
I ordered 2 of these jacks the more u buy the more u save . ok so on Aug 1st 2020 I made my order .money taken out of my account that day . well here it is Sept 13 th 2020 and still no jacks . when I try to contact them on the email I'm told to be patient. I'm passed that now . I'm pi...ed off.
Well that is a very heavy RV! So if your RV is 10 tons, around 20,000 pounds, you would not lift the entire rig, max you are lifting is 2 or 4 tons depending on the weight on that one tire. This jack is one ton, but in the description I have the 3 and 5 ton version. Hope that helps and I would figure out your load you have on each tire before getting a jack.
I've never owned a car that this would work on. Most sports cars don't have anywhere near 6 inches at the Jack point and a max height of 17 inches might not be enough to get a truck or suv lifted high enough to remove a wheel.
HI Chrils , some silly questions . Can using the item run down the car battery like some air compressors ? Should the wheel bolts not be at least slightly loosened before jacking the car ?
It can, it also has an air compressor built-in, would recommend leaving the engine on while using. With the impact, you can break the lugs loose with them off the ground just like the tire shop does.
You got to measure how many inches you have under your lift point of your car. Then subtract the outer rim to the pavement. Because you need 6.1 inches just to get it under the car. If you have a flat the. Car is now to low, not allowing the jack to get under frame. Thought it would be great for my Tesla, but only have 6 inch clearance, with a flat less then 4 inches. I pass on this.
Well, I could lift the front tire of my chevy truck with the big v8 in it, it weighs 2.8 tons. They do have a larger jack than this one, while I did say I was able to do it, I would not recommend it.
The only way this could damage your battery is if the voltage on your battery was already very low, or you used the jack and impact for almost an hour straight. To change one tire, or even do a tire rotation of all 4 tires you will be fine. If you use an impact you want to make sure you check the torque of the lugs after you get to a place to do this. Thank you for watching and your question.
looks like that jack dont lift high enough that way he just has the tire very close the the ground trying it out may be little east but to put tire back in going be a problem
We are using this right now to do a gear change on our jeep, so much easier than the manual jack. We have probably lifted and lowered our jeep 10 times in a day. Thanks for watching, hope you got everything corrected with your tire issue.

Many thanks. Very well explained. My question is about the safety valve. Should I keep it on tight or loose. Turning clockwise loosens and vice versa. So should keep it on tight or loose or somewhere in between?
Never touch it, it is a manual way to dump hydraulic oil out of the jack.
@@ChrisDoesWhat thank you Chris. I'll stay from it.
Thanks
Does the car engine needs to be on when using the cigarette lighter ?
Most don't, but I guess that would vary by car.
Can I use this jacjk to level the vehicle for camping. Effectively vehicle will be lifted and kept in that position for 3-4 days.
Not really what it's made for.
Sure looks like a useful too but then reality came crashing in, how often do I change a tire? how much room does this take up? Plus the drudgery of replacing a tire reminds me not to be doing stupid things that make my tires flat.
You have to pick the right solution for you. Thank you for watching, hope to see you again for some of our other videos.
@@ChrisDoesWhat thanks
I like the car jack. I need one. What is the price for one kit and the shipping cost if you send it here to Tanga town, Tanzania?
We are glad you like the jack per our video. We don't sell this, just did a review. We left a link in the description of the video for the jack on Amazon, no clue how much to send this to the Tanga.
There is flash light built-in?
No Flashlight built in.
Thanks, just bought one from Amazon and the broken English instructions were a bit Confusing lol.
The product is pretty easy to use, ours in over 2 years old now, just used it to lift our jeep for a gear change. Jeep gear change video coming soon.
Chris Does What amazon sold out do you know where I can find one ? I really need it.
@@buddhaboi5630 Here is the upgraded model, they went under a new name and now it is 5 ton. amzn.to/38E29sK
Mine got stuck jacked up and wont go down
Nice review and all..but how does one use the Battery clamps?
Just like jumper cables.
In the absence of your car cigarette lighter due to busted fuse you can use that one just simply clamp the red(+) & black (-) and plug in the socket.
I'm very impressed I absolutely need that for my car, but my question is when all the wheels are inserted do I need a torque wrench in the end?
I always recomend a torque wrench to check your lugs later. Most people I've seen put tires on, including tire repair places, don't check the torque. Personally I have had a front tire come off just after getting new tire at a tire shop, there was damage to the front brake that they fixed, but this could have been worst. In the end you have to do right for you.
@@ChrisDoesWhat Thx mate for your Information 😉
For emergencies, you can hang on to your lug wrench to get you off the side of the highway
The amazon item you link to does not have the impact wrench.
Sorry about that, we have changed the link. You can also see all their different jacks here: amzn.to/2EPvhE1
Can you explain why you say dont use the impact to Retighten the bolt, use your hand first?
You at least need to hand start them so that you don't cross-thread the lugnuts. We did tighten them a little longer than needed by hand, but just so we don't want people blaming us when they screwup their lugnut stud.
@@ChrisDoesWhat that's why!
Ok bro thanks for respond
Will this lift a jeep high enough to change rotors?
For sure, did this on our YJ with 32 inch tires.
Great comment I definitely needed that laugh hahahaha
I have this jack here in UAE it's very helpful and can lift up to 3Tons. Even the police officer was amaze when they saw me helping an Irishman in less than 5 mins I remove the flat tyre and put the spare Tyre
Please use jack stand with tool.
That would be hard to do in an emergency, was showing that the jack is stable, and if you have your e-brake on, there should be no issue. Safety 3rd!
Can i use this to lift my Chevy Camaro in an emergency to change a flat tire?
Sure you can.
Probably not. I doubt you have 6 inches of clearance and thus would probably not fit under your car.
I bought this 6 months ago, but has not been using it, I want make use of it but the pressure rod is not moving up proper, very slow in movement, what will I do?
Contact the company.
Will you trust that orange plastic box to tighten your wheel lugs securely ?
Yep, have you used it and tested with a torque wrench, would trust it for emergency use. It's great for handicap, and elderly people that want to tighten their lugs or take them off.
Modern cars don't take those round fuses anymore..and secondly that impact wrench won't last very long because the way it impacts that shock load will destroy the mechanism
First, you can still buy those fuse that are very common. Secondly, we have used this for four years and it hasn't destroyed itself.
Can you this for a truck
Here is a video were I lift our truck. ruclips.net/video/IFjUON9VTt0/видео.html
Nice demonstration Chris! Liked and subscribed. You gotta let me try it out oneday. -Ken, Land O Lakes, FL
This jack video got a lot of views so far, I hate the intro and am still trying to figure things out, surprised it did so well.
Good job demonstrating and doing a good review.
Awesome Jack, Chris.
Thank You Bro
What's the weight limit can it lift 2tons? 3tons? Can it lift a suv high enough to change a tire? How long dose it take to inflate a flat tire?
They only offer a three and 5 ton jack now and I have links in the description. You can also see the video where I lift our truck with 35 inch tires on it in the description. For 35 inch tire it will take the air compressor quite a while to fill it up from completely flat.
Can I buy it for Jordan, and how much it cost please, Thank you for the useful video
Thank you for watch. Left a link in thw description, and you can buy it for whoever you want.
Can I use this for my toyota hilux 2018 pick up truck?
It depends on the weight of the truck, I can lift one tire on our half ton Chevy.
It can definitely lift the front part of the truck, how about the rear? since it is higher than the front
The hight is based on tire size, not ride hight. Our truck has 35 inch tires and we can lift it with this jack.
just got one and it did lift the front part but cannot reach the rear part at all
Well that's strange because the front part of the truck is heavier than the back part, and our truck has 35 inch tires on it and I can still lift it with this jack. Also you should only lift one tire at a time putting the Jack under the spring.
How do you use the battery connect?
Just like jumper cables.
My new jack kit is leaking with oil -Do i need to refill with oil ? what type of oil ?
If it is new and leaking, send it back.
these jacks are pretty well useless for cars with a flat.
We did put measurements in the video, you have to make sure the product is right
Whats the tonnage rating.
Jack rated capacity: 1 Ton (2200lbs)
I have this jack 3 Tons capacity and very helpful
how much torque will it put on the lug nut?,most cars are between 80 to 100 pound feet of torque
Here, at the end of this video I put a torque wrench on the lugs after I tighten them with the impact that comes with the kit. ruclips.net/video/gbGOHv5er5E/видео.html
My question was how much torque this impact gun has,not if you use the torque wrench or no?!
And my answer is I don't know, I point you to the video where I put a torque wrench on it after I used the impact.
@@ahoorakia Max. Torque: 480N.M
Does it has plastic or metal body?
It has a plastic casing, the jack is metal, and the bottom under the jack is metal. The orange plastic is easy to clean off and it is easier to see at night.
Nice review, think this would help me since I live on the road.
Did you order from Amazon?
what is the lifting capacity? I have a 20 ft RV that weights maybe around 8 to 10 tons?
Well that is a very heavy RV! So if your RV is 10 tons, around 20,000 pounds, you would not lift the entire rig, max you are lifting is 2 or 4 tons depending on the weight on that one tire. This jack is one ton, but in the description I have the 3 and 5 ton version. Hope that helps and I would figure out your load you have on each tire before getting a jack.
The cords won't be long enough.
I've never owned a car that this would work on. Most sports cars don't have anywhere near 6 inches at the Jack point and a max height of 17 inches might not be enough to get a truck or suv lifted high enough to remove a wheel.
Glad you had to tell everyone that your rich and blow money on sports cars.
would like to see the jack lift the car with a flat tire instead of a fully inflated tire.
Here is the video of this car with a flat. ruclips.net/video/gbGOHv5er5E/видео.html
I will buy it if it’s made in USA 🇺🇸 👍🏻
It is not made in the USA.
Does it still work after a few year?
Yes, pulled it out as an extra jack when we just did a 4 inch lift on our jeep.
Great, it's not for everyone.
Most Tesla owners only have four inches.
The Pump can fix that.
good for van or not van is 3 ton
Well, I could lift the front tire of my chevy truck with the big v8 in it, it weighs 2.8 tons. They do have a larger jack than this one, while I did say I was able to do it, I would not recommend it.
thank you
Pretty cool video. I get a kick out of your green screen. Did the company find you or did you find them?
The Handyman lmao
You're killing us man, I think I lost a year watching this!.... Don't put your finger there!... Lol
I won’t buy it coz it’s not made in USA !
Just buy a screw jack and cordless drill
Will this damage the battery?
The only way this could damage your battery is if the voltage on your battery was already very low, or you used the jack and impact for almost an hour straight. To change one tire, or even do a tire rotation of all 4 tires you will be fine. If you use an impact you want to make sure you check the torque of the lugs after you get to a place to do this. Thank you for watching and your question.
That was knowledgeable. Thank you, Chris Does What.
It might scratch the battery terminals.
Please, am interested to buy this jack in bulk quantities for my business... how can I make contact
I don't sell it, just reviewed it.
Excellent video, thanks. A+

Chris Does What thanks
looks like that jack dont lift high enough that way he just has the tire very close the the ground trying it out may be little east but to put tire back in going be a problem
This jack lift a 35 inch tire off the ground on our truck, it goes higher than what I show here.
@@ChrisDoesWhat ok thank
I wish I had that tool yesterday changing my tire, It would have been much easier to change.
We are using this right now to do a gear change on our jeep, so much easier than the manual jack. We have probably lifted and lowered our jeep 10 times in a day. Thanks for watching, hope you got everything corrected with your tire issue.
