Ok, since no one mentioned it in the comments, I guess I will... The Allen wrench is for an emergency situation where the jack will not go down electrically using the button, as some of these jacks tend to do at times. There is a hole under-neath the handle with a rubber cap over it. Take the rubber cap off, and insert the Allen wrench into the Allen key and turn counter-clockwise to lower the jack manually (just like a bottle jack works). I am sure that information is in the manual, but thought I would mention it here for others having issues with the jack not retracting by pushing the down button. Actually I would like to think that using the Allen wrench to lower the jack manually every time you use it, would extend the life of the jack since it wouldn't be working as much. VIW3784 mentioned that the Allen wrench may be for the plate on bottom, and I was thinking also that if you took off that plate, you may be able to service the jack, and may help with (as other people have said) loosing fluid/leaking to have access to a place to fill it up or change the hydraulic fluid from time to time...
Thanks for the review, looks like a great emergency kit. Anyone who’s had to fight a factory crap scissor jack and wrench in the snow or mud at night probably already has one of these on the way. And if your used car doesn’t have spare tools, like so many don’t…
Good to see you putting out content it seems to me it's been a while. I don't need all the kit as I have breakdown on my cars (not that i would call them out for a flat tyre) and a breaker bar and battery powered impact wrench but it pinged an interest in a powered jack but my trolley jack is probably quicker. Interesting film though. Watched this before heading up to your neck of the woods, Setting up sons flat for Uni in Aberdeen.
Know when a video transports you back to a certain point in your life… Do you remember being a kid and watching the demonstrations that used to be on repeat on a JML TV in ASDA. Thanks for unlocking that childhood memory for me this morning 😂
Very surprised with how solid this machine appears to be. I could easily imagine my wheels being removed for cleaning much more often using this. Good price too. Thanks for being it to my attention. However, I never envisaged needing a video to help me locate, loosen and tighten my nuts.
Good descriptive video, assume the Allen key is for the metal plate on the bottom. Handy bit of kit, change your wheels and then head to the local snooker club with those fancy gloves 🧤
It does look like a cake mixer 😂 I imagine you turning up with a proper impact driver talking like Ronnie Kray- ‘What are you, Fanny Craddock? What are you doing with that? Gonna bake me a cake? Sing me a song whilst I blow out me fucking candles? I come here for a fucking shootout. A proper shootout with some proper men. Like Colonel Custer and Geronimo, you ever heard of them? No. Cause you're too busy in your pinny baking fucking fairy cakes, weren't ya?’
Most important question is can it lift a mobility scooter? if so I can see this being a big hit with pit crews for the Mersea Island mobility scooter co-op 500 race! Rumour has it that this years race is being started by Sammy the seal! and is sponsored by "waffle stomping fired chicken"
1/4 inch seems quite small for an impact drive. Are you sure it's not 1/2 inch? Most that I've seen or used impact-wise in my Automotive career have been a standard 1/2 inch or upwards. Maybe once I saw a 3/8 drive impact tool, but rare to see. Be nice for official clarification as not mentioned on the link, unless I'm blind, cheers. Not a bad price either and a handy bit of kit too. Especially for mobile valeting businesses.
Can anyone say how to fix the jack when it begins to leak oil through the riser. How do i stop the leak, what oil do i purchase to replace the lost amount and what is the maximum amount
Perhaps this one is to help rescue others rather than yourself. Of course you could always take the tool out of the box and keep it somewhere closer to the driver.
First off, street ka wheels. Secondly those sockets aren't suitable for an "impact" tool. They should have just included a breaker bar instead. Cheaper and more efficient judging by how long it took to do the first wheel nut. Especially as your wheels would have been off recently. Also 1/2" drive
Price has jumped £30 in the past month! Pity, as it would be ideal for people like me who live in top floor flats and don't have anywhere to store a trolley jack.
WARNING!!! this jack and all similar ones are all falsely rated. they CANNOT lift 5 tons..(some say 3 tons) other videos on here show max lifting capacity is about 3900 lbs (less than 2 tons) beware these are marketed under several different names. they can hold 5 tons if you use it as a jack stand but stall out trying to lift closer to 2 tons. see user project farm for actual load testing
@@SpeckyMcSporran I think we are talking two different scenarios here, the electric jack is totally depending on the motor where the manual jack is using a handle, that can be substitute with another handle?
Another paid shill, ever wonder why he never showed it to us with an actual flat tyre? its because the damn thing does'nt fit under a car when it has a flat tyre. Thats why when he showed the preview of the lift it was already halfway lifted. This product is a bunch of baloney thats why we stopped selling it in our store.

Certainly aimed at my favourite people OLD people as long as the sockets are guaranteed it could be a useful tool 👍🏻
I have an 12v Scissor jack and it works well. Much easier than a manual jack.
Handy bit of kit to have In your car for those emergencies, surprised of the weight it will lift, good price too 👍
Cheers Ricky, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it all works!

@@SpeckyMcSporran was a good audition, never know could get a job on shopping channels next 📺

Hello Specky, what a brilliant video, this hydraulic jack is a handy bit of kit,I do like the new alloy wheels on the car.😀
Thank you!

Haha didn't think of that or the gloves, but a handy kit to have.
Well presented specky, was like watching a shopping channel.
Haha that wasn't the plan but I'm glad you liked it.
How do I use the battery cable connectors?
Im amazed that cake mixer managed to move those wheel nuts at all.
It did a great job considering I pretty much overtightened the nuts previously.

So many podcast references! 🤣🤣
Can you confirm that it is 1/4 inch drive as it looks more like 1/2 inch..
I think I misspoke, it's a ½"
Does the manual says to not let the jack under load for more than 10 minutes?
Looks a decent bit o kit that Specky good value for the money 👍🚙

Definitely 1/2" on this but there are plenty of 3/8" impact tools around now. I've got a few myself

cant you over torque the lug nut if you only need maybe 80 ft/lb? won't that ruin the lug nut?
How are you supposed to get in the trunk to get the hammer to break glass and cut seatbelt, so you can get out?

That's Real shame, sorry to hear that.
Hello my friend, which model is where you bought it
There is a link in the description
How tall is it. Remember if u have a flat the car is a lot lower. It seems kinda tall to fit under the car. Especially if it's a uneven surface. ?????

Good to know!
Thanks for video
my only concern is that, what happen if the motor stop working? the jack is useless.
What happens if the handle on your manual jack breaks? We can't live by what-ifs.
@@SpeckyMcSporran I think we are talking two different scenarios here, the electric jack is totally depending on the motor where the manual jack is using a handle, that can be substitute with another handle?
I can't argue with that but I don't think it's enough to put someone off buying one.
Can you direct to the manufacturer
I am ìmprest to your product what more can ì do
Work for expedition or suburban??
How much they cost..!??
I don't know, we don't have those cars in this country.

I can see it has one downside, It's Limited to stock suspension ride height. You won't get it under a lowered car.
True, but I don't think those with lowered cars would consider something like this either.
@@SpeckyMcSporran Fair point. Just to clarify I wasn't trying to be negative
Yeah no worries bud 👌🏻
Great video 👍🏻
It is not 1/4" drive it is 1?2"
