The issue with just 5$ PCBs is that the shipping will cost you a few hundred bucks. That stuff is heavy. Although... We do order arrays of pcbs where every array is like 3 pcbs on a DIN-A4 big piece of PCB.

for mosfets, there is also another important parameter: the Cgs capa (cis) which influences the communication speed. Often, when the RDC.on resistance is lower, the Cgs capacity is greater.

Sorin, I am not entirely sure, about this but the RTX3060 and RTX4060 suffer from the same issue: Basically its a large DIE and the solderballs tend to get broken. Try pushing down on the GPU while powering on. Or use your magig rossin Flux and do a short reballing. There might be a small chance, that the GPU is still alive. Or am I wrong? I am supprised you were able to measure the VRAM.
Hi Sorin, if that error is code43 (right click the gpu and see the error code), if you have code43 is a VRAM issue, you need to run NVidia mods software especially version 455 for these 30 series cards, it will show you the faulty VRAM, the fault could be broken pads under or a damaged chip which you can replace. Good luck.
Im pretty sure it is soldered to the motherboard, so if you want to replace it you have to replace the whole motherboard, i learned it the hard way and declined the offer because the replacement costs is the same as the laptop itself. You can get an external gpu instead i guess
i had the same laptop after a year frames dropped on everygame. Just cleaned out the fans and it[s back to brand new. There was no indication from gpu temp/% this was happpening just slowed
Easy peasy. Contact Acer for the GPU chip and let them know if they give you one you will sponsor their newest laptop on your channel that has 1 million viewers. Great idea, right? But robot morons working on the phones at Acer won't help most likely no matter how much we kiss their bottoms.
I have the same problem with my Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop . The video card and V ram is out of order , but i still have the guaranty for another 4 years and 4 month . I believe will be better for them to give me the money back , than just exchange always that video card with V ram ones in 4/5 month 😂😂😂
I have a nitro 5 ryzen 5 4000 series with gtx 1650. Had anl lcd problem and was fixed but now sluggish even though upgraded into m2 and 24gb dual channel. Please help :( I'm a fan from the Philippines

Maybe pwm chip to control mosfet driver, and mosfet is failed
most likely if you check with GPU-Z, vram would be 0 mb and the problem is the vram itself (mostly)
