Hi Michael, great video! I'm a long time subscriber and your tutorials have been the reason I have a good understanding of latin percussion. It's nice to see your recent tutorials! Thank you!
Yes I joined your website and found the Guajira play along music. Now I’m very excited to create my own variations mixed with your original variations. Very cool....more Power to mdm music...thanks Dan
How do you setup a computer program to provide the background samples such as the piano montuno and other samples? I have a feeling that it would be impossible to gather an entire salsa band in which all people would know how to play all the sections in a song (at least in my country). Thanks.
Gracias por el video. What would you say is the bpm for Guajira? Seems like you are playing at 120 bpm. Is there a range for Guajira? Gracias de antemano por su respuesta.
Michael, I love your videos! Perhaps you can help me with my question ... what is the musical difference between Guajira and Cha Cha Cha? It sounds similar, doesn't it? Thank you!
Well, chachacha has a different background. It developed from classical orchestra with violin and flute ect. Guajira comes from the farmers with guitar and tres. I wish you good luck!
ConxurOz I meant the narration. I understand that the feeling is laid back, but I don't know what the notation is describing based on what he is playing in the examples.

Tempo de la guajira
Guajira uses the 2/3 clave so these variations are on the 2 side? Thank you in advance for your answer.
The short variation is in the 3 part. I wish you good luck!
Michael-Thanks. Beautiful bongo. Are your notations collected anywhere?
Thank you! Unfortunately I haven't collected all the notations, but I am working on that.

The notation doesn't match the way your playing.
He said that is not straight... The notation is with laidback, But actually that is the notation.
