I usually end up playing my bongos with those wooden dowel things (you know, those clicky sticks that Keith Moon started out Magic Bus with) because my hands hurt. I know, I know. . . . build up callouses. I’ve got enough callouses from playing guitar.
It is difficult to create the different sounds with sticks.... The important thing is to have fun with it!

Michael - you are superb and have been watching. On on one or your videos for beginners where you teach the variations for beginners - you mention its interesting in a faster beat. How many beats per minute would that be?
