    Literally did the same thing as you a few months ago. Thought I'd try repair the OEM one but couldn't get a good seal. Ultimately got one from Ali. Probably the same as yours as the packing looks identical. The motor is noisier than the OEM part but seems to work just fine. One thing that worries me a bit is that I've noticed some fine rust powder on the water nozzle. Not sure where that's coming from but hopefully not from inside the unit!

    I watched a video where a guy bypassed the water inlet by using a brass r/angled elbow and tapping a thread into the shaft and connecting the hose direct which meant the water could not go into the motor and solved the problem. I have tried but can not find the video again. If anyone finds it please let me know.
