hah, fail but interesting enough...once I saw those teeth on nylon gear almost non existing I continued watching with great thrill...wondering what the hack you managed to do.....obviously, you did not....but I see some humor in this...like it, absolutely untypical....😊🤣
Hi. The motor works, so it did not need changing. I managed to find just the damaged gear on ebay, however, I decided to remove the wiper completely. I prefer the look of the car without the wiper.
Interesting video. I have the same problem with my 2003 MINI Cooper. I also discovered the nylon gear teeth had worn down, and I couldn't find a replacement. I don't suppose you would be willing to part with the new cog you obtained, by any chance?
Even though you didn't get it to work, your video helped me sort my one out, so thank you very much!
Thank you for posting this video. It has helped me during my project, and in my particular application. Have a nice day!
It was very good info on how to take it apart . Thanks 👌 😎

good that you tried to fix the problem before buying a new motor assembly
Mate, did you manage to figure out if you needed a new motor? What was the ending to this repair? Or was it just a new rotor etc?
Thanks in advance.

Yip nylon gears, new gear should do the trick but probably easier to put in new assy.

I did not purchase a new cog, but they are available on ebay for about 5 pound.
You already knew that if you didn't get a new gear it would never function.
They are cheap to replace.
If you're going to post a video titled repair then you need to repair it in the video
