An amazing tree! Maybe a bit on the huge side, but this is debatable. Your hiragane is very distinctive. Kouka-en style, or more just you? Anyway, it will be super interesting to see how this magnificent tree will develop, and how it may transform if some other professional designs the foliage again. Gambatte for the big move!

Really bums me out to see that you’re selling the “tornado” but ya gotta do what ya gotta do, I guess. I hope we can see its progression in the future!
I also can’t help but wonder how much it sold for. 😂 I know it was at least 6 figures. But 100 or 500 thousand. Can’t help but to be curious, even though it’s private. I guess Borjn is literally selling everything?

A tree that important and with such provenance, should really be in the hands of a bonsai professional or atleast cared for in a similar zone .. imo but hey it’s business too?? I guess ?? I hope the new owner knows what they’re doing maybe the new owner had a formal stint of study in Japan or has been practicing bonsai for many many years, I’d hate to see it decline
