It’s called “The Sauce” cause it sounds like “The Source” with a Boston accent where Benzino is from lol
Holy shit seriously
@@karimC35 From what I read back in the day, yeah!
Yup and double meaning cuz Em was getting saucy on the diss track
Mean street from boston💀

Nail In The Coffin - one of the best diss songs of all time
He's already reacted to it.
ruclips.net/video/CEWn2GKHhKU/видео.html
I think the "balcony...all over the street like 50" line is my favorite diss line ever from him for some reason lol
Benzino blocked me on Instagram today for writing on one of his posts " I would never claim to be no, Ray Benzino, an 83 year old, Fake Pacino" HAHAH
Girls is another one
The Source put Eminem on their covers repeatedly. Basically Benzino used him to sell the magazine while also using it to trash his music and try to discredit him.
Wow omg, thanks for saying that, nobody would have been able to pick up what he meant by the line, even thought it exactly describes it in the song!
Everybody that's been on youtube enough has gotten the most random, never searched for, never heard of recommendations but even RUclips wont recommend a Benzino track. 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Yoooo never ever have i
Who is Benzino?! If Em never dissed him back in the day, I wouldn't have known who he is 😂😂😂
@@tabithatrue9390 idk I went to Google and typed in Benzino and Google only came back with this 🤷🏻♂️
if you google benzino it just says "why?"
This is one of the disses that destroyed 2 labels and 1 huge company
It’s crazy how many battles Em has had but people only say he battles Pop Stars... Dude literally the Bible for Hip Hop and destroyed it
@@NextMJ2 people dont realise that they cant battle Eminem thats why they didnt went at him simple
What 2 labels? N big company?
@@NextMJ2 people hate on Em but they don’t know that Em came up from battle rap,
Em’s penmanship it’s outta this world bro
@@emyf9197 the company being the source magazine. 1 label I can think of is murder ink but I’d combine that with 50 cents assault on murder ink too. Not sure of the other label being referenced.
Maaan, I remember having these Eminem/50 Cent/ G unit disses on repeat back then. Good times.
For sure. All day every day. Lol Even the Everlast ones too... I Remember & Quitter comes to mind.
When hip hop was still hip hop..now we got the island boys
"No more Source for street cred, them days are dead." And as it was spoken so it was done
He has spoken. This is the way.
'Ray's got AKs to Dave May's head'🤣 I haven't heard this in years, great diss.
Snoop doesn't want any of this. Being a gangster is one thing, but being proficient on the mic to destroy your opponent is another
Don't forget who Snoop's going up against too: Em, Dre, Royce, Crook, Joyner, 50, Obie, Game, Jay, Joell, Ice Cube, and Kendrick are all good friends of his
@@fireshadowblade9 I doubt Dre would get on wax against snoop because he is also a brother to snoop, I also doubt they would involve all those others too, if they do go back and forth I think it will only be them two
Snoop was never a Gangster lol
@@arsen9999aa I think so too but it's still pretty intimidating just knowing who's around him

EMINEM’S DISS TRACKS ARE UNDEFEATED. LISTEN TO “Go To Sleep” Eminem and DMX
Yooo check out haile's revenge, lol em unofficial verse was him spazing in the back of the studio toward the end. You really felt the hatred.
He already did it in the patreon fam
Don’t forget about Bully that shit go hard too
Quitter, when he went at whitey Ford. The track when him and Busta rhymes went at Ja and murder inc.
@King Kong that's D12
Living through those times and watching Em taking on the biggest influence in Hip Hop head on, and shutting them down to near irrelevance was pretty amazing. It was a ballsy. Early Em did not give a fuck. He truly came from dirt. Had nothing to lose.
One of the traits that separates Em from the rest is the tonality/inflection in his delivery. You don’t really see any reactors talk about it. But when he spits shit like this it’s so damn BELIEVABLE. He can change his delivery to match the vibe of the track. It’s the exact same reason Tupac is an all time great. It wasn’t just about the lyrics, it’s that you believed him no matter what emotion he’s trying to incite. Nobody does it like PAC and Em. And it’s one of the reasons they’re so credible.
True. True intense shit on good 🎧 His passion is unmatched
You think he still raps like this? No. 🤣
@@rgtwergf absolutely
@@rgtwergf That comment didn't age well.. That new track with EZ Mil - Realest is proof Em can kill a track whenever he feels like it
Only difference between em an pac is pac was a fake gangsta from an art school. Em spit his real life.
Steve you have to react to the RUclips video from Diverse Mentality called Eminem vs Benzino, who won? It details everything about this feud
DM did amazing vids on others also - Game vs 50, Ja vs 50... amazing work from @DiverseMentality
SK need to pin this
Who won? Lol
@@rossicourvosi218 I know it his series that he labels on beefs but we all know who won
Didn't Diverse say that Benzino won that? It's been a while since I watched it
This is the one. His flow on this was crazy 💧
Right...
Only rapper that can make the spitting noise rhyme
Snoop should start listening to these
Nothing will ever be good enough if you listen to hate, instead of having a neutral pov.
Word.
Snoop wishes he could rap like that. Once snoop became "commercial" he was done
Damn never heard this song before... Eminem has a crazy catalogue
Maaaaannn this angry energetic flow is crazyyyyyyyy🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Eminem is literally the only person that could attack every person that is known for destroying careers and blow up more from it. People said getting on the sources bad side would destroy a rappers career. Now a days people think getting on the bad side of critics will kill your rap career. If you haven't noticed, almost every eminem album gets bad reviews from critics and still kills it in the charts.
Fax!!!
I like Knight Nation! How bout you call your Stan’s the Knight Riders? Us old heads know the double
Kit! Come on now! Yes! David hasselhoff as Micheal!
Stan Rodarte: Army Soldier
This is green lantern. I bumped this shit in high school. If you don't know the 3 invasion green lantern mixtapes then you missed out. Part 1 is his beef with benzino. Part 2 is his beef with ja rule.
The green lantern mixtape was a holy grail
He has to do this one!
I really want Em to like get a plane or something, fly to Ja's concert with his homies bumping the "I got G-Unit, I got 50 Cent... " part
@@nikhilpranav6915 "I got 50 centttt, I got g-unitttt, d-twizzy in this bitchttttt, wit obie trice." I'm bumping it rn lol 😆
@@usa5439 I would love if 50 just sent that to Ja or just found his concert and played it on max volume lol
Stevie Knight, I’m learning a lot with you, since along time ago.
If Snoop continues to talk shi, I hope Em disses him like this.
It's a bit more complicated with Snoop because they are both under Dre so if either of them are affected negatively, that's money out of Dre's pocket and I don't think Em would do that to Dre.
@@TwistedSisler Snoop doesn't even rap anymore though, does he?
I agree though that Eminem probably won't diss him much harder than what he already said on Zeus.
Snoop's got no reason to get butthurt at Em like Benzino does and theyre all too old to be actin like clowns. If Snoop keeps it goin he's spittin on legacies for no reason
@@TwistedSisler Em's net worth is 80 million dollars above Snoop's... and Snoop's "Bible of Love" sold 3k 1st week... I don't think Dre gets anything much from him and in words of Dre, "Should've never let that dog out of the kennel"
"Moral of the story is, Benzino's a whole clown out here.."

In honor of MF DOOM, please react to a couple of his tracks!
RIP DOOM!
Hip Hop Quotables was a section in The Source magazine, where they quote some of the best bars.
Thanks for the clarity. Shoutout from Durban, South Africa.
Yup. Unsigned hype too
Benizo owned the SOURCE magazine that's why he said the only way he would get 5 mics because he was the owner and Made Men was Benizo was group and David Mays was co owner
Dave started The Source, and Benzino was a co-owner. From what I understand, at least. Either way, fuck them both. lmfao
didnt even know Benzinos face, till his rant, always heard his name here and there tho lol bout it
He looks like an off brand Dashie xp
Same
You can't forget the issue of the Source with Benzino holding Eminem's Severed head and spine up on the cover...
This is the most relevant benzino’s ever been lol
I have nothing to add. I just want it to be known that Stevie deserves more Subs.
Top tier reactor.
Outsiders and we suing the courts
Cause we dope af and only get a two in the source!
As the world turns 🔥🔥🔥
@@CrashIllustration Yup. Ima older guy. I was like 15 when that beef was going on. I’m born and raised in Detroit, back then when Em dropped a diss they’d play it on the radio (97.9 WJLB). We all knew then Em was on a whole different level after this one
i was gonna comment that because thats actually the first shot fired in this looooong battle.
8:40 The word "quotable's" is spelled wrong. But the Source used to have a section in every issue called "Hip-Hop Quotables" where the illest lines were mentioned. Em's lines were (surprisingly) not mentioned in not even 1 magazine, hence the diss.
This diss gave me chills 🔥
That "hold my breath for 5 mics" bar was him referencing his own lyrics from the song "say what you say"
"5 mics in the source, ain't holding my fucking breath. But I'll suffocate for the respect 'fore I breathe to collect the fucking check"
One of the best diss records of all time. Probably Em’s hardest.
Em hardest for benzino....its debatable with nail in the coffin. BUT the sauce is my preference, that beat is a monster
Lyrically, Killshot is his most clever diss.
Quitter the Everlast diss was his best.
Lyrically it was Killshot though.
Nail in coffin is better in my opinion
Nail In The Coffin is neck and neck! Fuck that ones good too 😂
🤣 lmao he said "Benzino been old for a long time."
Oh yes I've been waiting for this one bro for a while this is my favorite Eminem dis track musically the way it sounds!
Cheat him out of quotables is a reference to "Rhyme of the Month" in The Source Magazine. Every issue they would have a "Rhyme of the Month" basically the best verse of that month, and Em is saying he got cheated out of getting that acknowledgment from The Source because of Benzino
Stevie, then do Invasion Part 1 2 3 (Prod by Green Lantern) then, Nail In The Coffin.
The whole green lantern album lol
To add to this the radio was the biggest platform to speak to the people and when drama like this happened it was hype as hell for DJs to play this on all the radio stations. Em was literally speaking to the culture with this one. Now it’s just a time capsule on a RUclips video.
"You kicking 40s door down" hits different when Em is almost 50. The "nobody wants to hear they grandfather rap" comes to mind these days too lol. Guess em was wrong, cause even when hailie has a baby, I'll still be listening to him.
Its kinda embarrassing for this generation of rappers knowing they getting out rapped and out sold by a 50yr old
Love You Dude!!Oldchool!
I've always preferred this to "Nail In The Coffin", which is probably the better diss track, but the beat, energy and aggression in his voice on this is pure fire!
Hayel nah this is way better than Nail in the coffin this is raw..pure lyricism and anger and exposure this song ended an entire magazine company. Nail in the coffin was always just goofy jokes to me
@@seankiesling2054 basically what I was saying, Nail In The Coffin was good but always preferred this one. Still on my playlist
@@evil4d yeah I was agreeing with you I just get passionate lol
Nail in the Coffin was good but really I think the Sauce is absolutely better. He had that raw energy that made him so aggressive with anger this is what makes it fully 10x better than Nail in the Coffin.
Love how the sauce had the "way I am" flow and cadence
Imagine this Em going at MGK 🤯...
We can now see why everyone came out after 20 years and try and diss.
At least somebody is admitting the truth. That comeback was not on Eminem's level. This Eminem would have been hell for MGK
@@geraldjohnson9352 are you guys kidding? Break down kill shot. Hell the name alone wins. There was a movie called Killshot where someone with the last name Colson was being hunted down to be murdered. MGK’s name? Colson. If you don’t think Killshot is hot, the complexity of the lyrics is too much for you.
One of my favorite. Nastiest diss period
Theses times were timeless. I remember some of theses clearly. I remember coping every mixtape just to see where it went. Em Body this man to almost nonexistent. I dont think NOBODY!! Can give Em a challenge when it comes to this battle shit. Dont let him found dirt on you, cause it wont be nice!!
Yo Stevie keep up the good work. Amazed at how your channnel grew. You the best at catching bars. All the way from Cape Town, South Africa
You need a new shirt that says “I’m a stan ”.
Cause I’ll buy it lol
Such underated story telling that most of us wont understand because we dont know all the info around the beef
Nail in the coffin Benzino Diss is so hard 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dope! The voice in this song is soo fucking energetic!
The Source, especially Benzino was biased towards a lot of rappers. And so they lowballed a lot of other rappers albums.
The cadence and aggression is amazing
This track never gets it's due when it comes to EM disses.
The passion and fire spewing in to the mic was un precedented.
idk man I used to many watch reaction channels now I can't miss a video u upload great content keep it up
6 dislikes? How many youtube accounts does Benzino have?
Man that DJ Green Lantern mix tape shit was fire
Crazy only em can release something that takes no breaking down and still make it fire by his story telling and grit in his voice.
Damn!!! I was waiting so long for this one 😂😂👌
Bruh, Benzino has an Onlyfans account, that should tell you all you need to know
Right 😆🤣
@Stevie Knight
The Source had a section in it called “Hip Hop Quotables”. Em is saying Benzino cheated him out of mics and his shine in the quotables section of the mag
Stevie Knight no one can break bars down like you. I grew up with HipHop and held myself high with the amount of knowledge I had but you have showed me so much more than just the lyrics or beats, you have an ear for this shit pointing out cadence and flow. You the real deal. Keep up the great work.

• Go to sleep ft DMX & Obie
• My name ft Xzibit & Nate dogg
• Hailies revenge w D12

Source quotables are lines from a song that they use to put in the source magazine
This track is lyrical murder , literally . Savage af
U the realest of reactors!!!!!!! 🙏 💯%
This is actually where the beef ended. Hah. Benzino just trying to keep it going for relevance.
Some one probably already said this, but the reference to Em missing Dre getting dissed on his chronic album wasn't because he was on the album. I missed him getting dissed on Chronic, probably cause I was on it, was a reference to Ems early on substance abuse problems. Such a good bar.
I don’t usually sub to people on the first couple watches but with you I subscribed instantly 😂
NEXT UP “NAIL IN THE COFFIN”
Omg been waiting on this one for a long time, one of my fav diss tracks
NAIL IN THE COFFIN
The Source use to have a section in it called Quotable’s where they’d write the rappers bars that was a quotable
Quotables was a section of the magazine that put in the hottest bars from recent tracks. Dave Mays was the editor at The Source. Made Men n RSO are Benzino's other groups, anything they dropped was 4.5 mics at least. Benzino was part owner in the mag and flexed to try grow his own career. FACTS.
damn his Buffalo Bill review is on his patreon.... sad me :(
Quotables... If I recall, The Source would have a verse of the month or something like that. Best quotables or similar. That's what he's referring to.
Why do I get weirdly hyped when you drop Eminem reactions lol
We all do
Because Stevie is one of the only reactors that actually appreciates the complexity of Em’s bars & gets hype af like we did when we first heard them!
Keep em coming!
WE CAN PUT OUR LAST DOLLARS ON STEVIE TIGHT, PLEASE LISTEN AND FOLLOW THIS YOUNG MAN 🙏
HIS PASSION AND LOVE FOR THE REAL IS IMPECCABLE

"Go to sleep" is a must he's dissing benzino n ja even DMX is on the track🔥🔥💯 @stevieknight
Now you gotta check Nail in the Coffin... That was the killshot
When benzino said he was from Boston on live, I said out loud “the mean streets of Boston” 🤣

He did already
I keep seeing people saying they want Snoop to diss Em so Em can respond. I don't think that will happen. I personally hope it doesn't. But... if it does, I think it will hurt Em personally because of the history they have. Snoop being such a respected head, relationship to Dre who is responsible for nurturing both of their careers from infancy (which I don't understand why Dre can't reach out to them both and squash this before it gets out of hand), I know Em has love and respect for Snoop (there's video of Em and Royce early in their career rapping G Thang at a concert and Em does Snoops part). I don't want to see this. As a fan of hip hop, I don't want to see this but I'll understand if Em has to. His name keeps getting dragged through the mud, constantly having to prove and defend his place in hip hop. It's maddening and exhausting. No matter what he does, these people will always throw salt on his name. Just that whole "whose discography can hip hop do without" if anyone would've said anyone else, let someone say Rakim, Nas, Immortal Technique, Slick Rick, Kane, KRS-One, Method Man, Redman, Masta Ace, anyone, anybody, there would've been an uproar. But because it's Eminem for some reason it's okay? Nah bruh, Black, White, Latino, Haitian, Japanese, if you can spit and you pay respects to the giants who paved the way, appreciate the foundation you have the privilege to continue to build on, that's all that should matter. That's what "Stans" are defending or trying to at least. That's what People like Benzino, Snoop, Charlemagne, The dude from Brand Nubian, don't want to see. They think Black people who like Em are house n-words and brainwashed and that's not it at all. Em, like so many came from nothing and made it. If the niche he carved isn't your thing cool, but don't put down the people who relate to his music and not expect them to come at you. What world are we living in?? Word to Stevie, I'm off my soap box.
“Quotables” was a section of the Source where they put bars on blast for being dope. Was a revered spot.
In the beginning, it sounds like Stevie doesn't know the genesis of this beef. Benzino had the first diss track, this was Em's first response
U can’t mess with the goat!! The Tom Brady of rap everyone hates him but he always wins..
This is the Eminem sound that I love. Fuck that new shit he's trying to pull.
In The Source magazine they had an area every month for who had the best verse in hip hop. They also had quotable of the year. Em is talking about being cheated out of those quotable of the month columns. That meant a lot back then if your verse made it in there.
Dave Mays owned the source. He was extorted into letting Benzino into being co owner.
David Mays was founder of Source magazine
The sauce gave the names he said (Jay etc) 5 mics (which are stars) and also give Benzino 5 mics(obviously as he was owner) and they gave Eminem like 2 mics...
