      Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. FYI Keep an eye out for my video this Wednesday. It's a follow up to this video with a more efficient switching arrangement (in my opinion) whic may be of interest to you.

    Cant you set buttons 1 and 2 to clean and crunch respectively and make the 2nd press on both of them your lead sound so all three are available with just a single footswitch press. Works great for me on mt Amplifire!

    Couldn't you add the Crunch to the release on the second button if you wanted to go back to crunch from the solo instead of scrolling through the clean

    I’ve seen that “hack” with the Stomp. I like to use a button to “in Stompbox Mode”(command edit) to take me to another Preset. I’ve been looking at midi pedals too.

    Hi! Nice video. Can you explain how did you named the presets clean / crunch, solo? Thanks!

      Hello and thanks. I named the the snapshots in HX Edit. I'm not actually sure how to do it on the HX Stomp itself though 🤔 I might need to look into that. I do remember that you used to not be able to name them at all.

    How do you change presets on this setup?? There's no foot

    Could you program your Solo Snapshot to go back to Crunch? That way you always have all the three snapshots one click away no matter what snapshot you are in.

      Yes you can! I actually did that in a follow up video when I had the same idea.

    How do you get the third effect button to change from the tuner

    Ok whats the most space saving way to ad also switching between patches on top of this?

      I remember on the Atomic Amplifire, you could press buttons 1 and 2 together to bank down and 2 and 3 to bank up.
      On the HX Stomp, I vaguely remember pressing 1 and 2 to bank one way but no way to bank the other way (which I thought was very strange). Apart from that, I'm still searching myself. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

    How the hell do I get rid of the tuner to make the 3rd switch an effect instead??

      Options, footswitches, FS3 and move it to FS3 action or something like that.

    Nice budget pedal but when you are ready to get serious- grab a FM9- if you can find one. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

    • @ProFunctionist
      @ProFunctionist  2 года назад +1

      I'd love to try an FM9! Axe-FX seem to be regarded as the best sounding modeler.

    • @MOAB-UT
      @MOAB-UT 2 года назад

      @@ProFunctionist It is regarded as such because it is currently king. The FM9 is the sweet spot between the FM3 (still good but only 3 buttons and lower CPU power) and the AxeFXIII. The good news is you can play almost all the same patches from the AxeFXIII on the FM9 at full HD quality (effects)- not so much on the FM3. Also, the editor (PC) is the same on the FM9 as the AxeFXIII- again, not the case with the FM3.
      Still, the FM3 is more than capable for most. The majority of patches you would ever need can be had on it. It's just that the FM9 is in a different league. You can be even more creative- you won't have to tap dance as much since it has 9 buttons and it has more CPU power which is always a good thing.
      My guess is that Fractal will release a successor the dated (but still amazing) AxeFXIII soon. I think they have too as the FM9 will cannibalize it's sales. Maybe that is why they are not selling it. They say it's due to a lack of semi-conductors or chips, yet Neural and Line6 are able to get them. I got on the FM9 waitlist day 2- that was over a year ago. My guess is that the AxeFXIV will have even more power, more I/O, tone matching and likely a touchscreen.
