Noto Railway (のと鉄道, Noto Tetsudō) is a railway company on the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
Noto Railway is a third sector company, which means (in Japanese sense) a corporation jointly funded by private entities and local governments.
The Noto Railway section is not electrified (except for the section shared with JR West) and operates local trains only. Between Nanao and Anamizu, only Noto Railway operates local trains; there is no through service to the JR West-operated part of the line south of Nanao.
Besides, のと里山里海号 13:25 (Noto Satoyama-Satoumi-go) which is a tourist train has been run on holidays since 2017. The trains stop at all stations and you have to pursue the reserved seat tickets at 500 yen for the trains.And, there are also dining cars on partly services.
