The soft mount or gimbal is adding a whole new authenticity level to your videos. We see how the engine moves on small bumps or on track joints. A rigid mound would never offer such an authentic view. Thank you!
Great quality video. Reminds me of all the countless train rides I took while I spent 2 months in Japan during the blazing hot summer of 1994. So much fun that trip was!
Honestly, this is the best office view ever. Could you do a video on how you became a train driver, what kind of education and training is required, if you start right away in trains like that or in smaller routes, etc
Im impressed with the length of some of the tunnels. What concern me is the fact that the train must be powered with a diesel engine which raises concern of the exhaust building up in those tunnels so I would assume that other trains coming from either direction must be spaced so that the exhaust fumes would not create a hazard for passengers. The HC85 prototype has been doing test runs since the beginning of 2020. 2. It should be noted that foreigners who ride this train between Nagoya and Shingu with the Japan Rail Pass must pay a special extra free (I believe it's around ¥800) because part of the route of this train travels on non-JR tracks.

The max speed should be 120 km/h. It just seems slow since we're viewing it from a camera. Of course, it will need to slow down in curves.
