This is a 4 inch Restorer Drum Sander. There's one made by Craftsman, Porter Cable, and Ohio (? The one shown here). I bought the one shown here, and it came with 2 sandpaper wraps and a paint stripper (?) The wire brush drum was about $50. Home Depot, Northern Tool, and Ace Hardware gave me blank looks when asking for this even after showing them parts of this video. Lowes were aware of it but had none in stock.
It is exactly the tool to use - I was trying to use a combination of belt sander, rotary sander, wire brush attached to an impact driver and it was taking absolutely ages. I estimate this tool will speed up the process 10 to 20 fold. Thanks Mr Dusty Lumber!

I know I have 3 of the porter cable ones that were sold at Lowe’s 4-5 years ago I bought 3 so I could keep different heads in them for quick use one always has a stainless steel wire drum on it one has the factory rubber drum with sanding sleeves and the newest one has flap scotch bright wheels I have green burgundy and gray drums I love them!!!! And they are used multiple times a week in my wood shop

Thanks for the great demo of what really looks like a fantastic tool. Hopefully they'll bring it to the UK sooner rather than later. I do a good about with the big Festool brusher but it's a heavy beast of a thing and doesn't have the wide choice of heads either.

It really is amazing... I just wish it had some "better" options for the motor. (But not ridiculously overpriced like the Makita.)

I just added the info on where to get the Restorer tool in above posts. (I don't work for the company, don't even live in Ohio...I'm just a mom trying my hand at some bigger DIY projects, and this tool has been a total lifesaver!)

If only the wheels were such poor quality and so expensive.
