Merci pour ta vidéo , je vais pouvoir enfin changer mon embrayage sur mon fatboy 2008 qui compte 60.000 km .je pensais qu il fallait faire un demi tour en arrière après la buté ! Merci
Nice video, none of the pathetic american hype about how could it have done so few miles. As all of your videos, just a nice calm assessment of the job in hand and got on with it. And thanks for speeding through the endless boring bits. As a Guzzi man, I'm not into Harleys either, but they sure do make clutch changes easy!
It exactly sure why they wore out so quickly, I explain what I think happened, the customer bought it this way. I can't remember the exact cost of the repair. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
My question is it looks like u used the old metal plates and only replaced the friction plates? Why didn’t you replace them? Can u please explain to me then when is it appropriate to replace them
The bike had only covered 500 miles, very unlikely it would have needed plates. The usual test is to place them on a flat surface and see if they rock side to side, if they do then you measure the gap with a feeler gauge then compare to spec. Thanks for watching 👍🙂
@@melsmotors Thank you I am new to doing my own motorcycle maintenance and this is the information that I sent that nobody seems to have answers to. Again thank you I really appreciate your information
Thanks for watching and commenting, I never give out torque settings as they are different on every vehicle and it's your responsibility to get the right info for your year and model of vehicle, sadly not mine. 🙂👍
Great vid and it's confidence inspiring! Sub'd!

Hai...if the debry Cover screws get sized how to take it out...I am looking for a solution..
Drill and tap my friend, drill and tap. You'll need an AF tap unless you're changing the screws to metric. Thanks for watching
@@melsmotors thanks bro
Probably only road it in parades in the hot summer.
Zipped through without citing any torque values even through he is seen using a torque wrench.
