    She’s definitely old fashioned when it comes to hair growth I love it! I’m sick of the wear two strand twist for 3 months or put your hair in a wig for 11 months out the year it just seem like hair neglect and it’s not realistic for people who love their natural hair and want to see it grow.

    So do you oil & massage your scalp, add leave in to your hair, and twists/stretch your hair ever night?? What about when you have a twist out? Do you only leave the twist out for a day and retwist it every night? Also of you add leave in every night does it cause buildup?

    • @HealthyAfroHair
      @HealthyAfroHair  4 года назад +2

      Yes I do. When wearing a twist out (which isn’t that often) I’ll just moisturise and retwist my hair (every night) until I decide to rock a next style.

    • @HealthyAfroHair
      @HealthyAfroHair  4 года назад +4

      I tend to do mine roughly every 4-6 months. But I’d say to trim based on how they look. So if they look damaged or you have split ends etc...then do it.

    I like what you recommend, but what about people with itty bitty teeny weeny afro's that can't do the the styles you're suggestions, that are self conscious about their receding hair line? 🤔

    • @HealthyAfroHair
      @HealthyAfroHair  3 года назад +3

      You can still apply the LCO method and then just cover your hair. But keep massaging your edges with oils.
