Hey guys, it's Charlotte Dobre here and in this video, we're going to be talking about some people who got served a slice of humble pie.
We all know that feeling of thinking we're better than someone else or that we're invincible, but sometimes life has a way of bringing us back down to reality. In this video, we'll be taking a look at some people who thought they were untouchable, but ended up getting a reality check that they weren't expecting.
From celebrities to regular people, these individuals got a slice of humble pie in a variety of ways. Some were caught in scandals, some had their egos shattered, and others faced setbacks that they never thought they would experience.
But the important thing is that they learned from their experiences and were able to grow as individuals. We'll be discussing some of the lessons that we can all learn from these stories and how we can avoid making the same mistakes that these individuals did.
So if you've ever felt like you were on top of the world or invincible, this video is for you. Get ready to hear some humbling stories that will make you think twice about your own life.

As a lactose intolerant victim, I can say when we choose dairy, we choose to fight the demons our stomach summons, no running water can hide them 😂😂😂
I have IBD and I have those stomach demons everyday except I call mine an alien. He’s nasty one who has set up camp in my belly.

I went out for a meal with 8 colleagues. We knew the bill would be about £50 each and we tip after. We asked that everybody bring about £80 - 100. After the meal, got bill, and all put our amount on the table, including £10 tip. All but one. She took the money & paid at the desk.I was suspicious and asked the clerk what was paid. The witch had paid for the food, on her credit card, but kept our £70 tips. They gave me a copy. At the table, I told all what had happened. She returned our £70, which I gave to the server. Let's just say the junior colleague lost her job for attempted theft.

Similar thing happened. However, it wasn't a work do, but a horseriding club do.

For all those lactose intolerant peeps who do not know: there are pills you can take with the first mouthful of dairy that will PRACTICALLY ELIMINATE YOUR SYMPTOMS.
There are several different ones. The one I found works best for me is the generic form of lactaid.

I love the tattle forms, lol. When I worked at a preschool, the kids were constantly tattling on one another. I painted a huge tree on the wall and hung up an old school phone. It was the tattle tree. If they needed to get something off their chest, they went up to the tree, waited in line, if neccessary, picked up the phone and told the tree everything - and then went on about their day.

Lactose intolerant: lactase tablets help ALOT. Dairy free Ice cream is not bad (I like soy delicious). For me it's not worth the pain to eat cheesecake.

My sisters and I all did that to each other. (I’m the oldest of three girls) and now I have four girls. Girls do that to each other. 😂
My best friends sister was like that growing up and funny enough she was the youngest my mom and their mom literally called her mother goose because she was so bossy 😂

Ah, the sisters. My oldest one told me that pennies were bigger than dimes so they were worth more. I traded all my dimes for her pennies. We still laugh about it.

me and my older sister were walking through our grandma’s garden as kids, and I pointed to a small orange pepper we’d never seen before and said “Oh wow, it looks like a mini bell pepper!” My sister immediately and excitedly goes “I LOVE bell peppers!” before grabbing one and shoving it in her mouth…
Its been over 20 years and we don’t let her live down shoving a whole habanero pepper in her mouth. Mainly because after nearly trying to drown herself with the garden hose to put out the unholy fires consuming her from the inside, she tried to tell mom that it was MY fault! Like, no ma’am, I made an observation! When she sasses me she gets sent a picture of “mini bell peppers”.

The story with the lactose intolerant girl was so similar to what happened to me. I had just returned to high school after having suffered from a stomach bug, and was still recovering. Had to URGENTLY use the restroom, and so during lunch hour I went to the little used restroom towards the school office, miles away from the crowded cafeteria. Well, I sit down and release the loudest, most prolonged fart on the planet, a sound I knew would carry, and but of course, group of girls was right outside the door, sitting at a table, eating their little salad lunches in the quiet of the school foyer and staring dead at me as I fled the scene of the crime.

Yes, these help so much! It doesn't take it away 100% for me but it will take care of the majority of those issues. For me cow's milk is the worst, so I've switched to almond milk. However, ice cream and cheese I refuse to give up on. 🍨🧀🥰

Ice cream is definitely an at-home-only thing for me.
I am lactose intolerant, and some one in a group suggested sugar free ice cream. Lactose is a kind of sugar found in milk, so sugar free = lactose free. Breyers has some flavors, but not many. There is also ice cream made with almond milk and cashew milk, as some one already mentioned. Many liquid coffee creamers are lactose free, even though they have milk as an ingredient. They say on the pkg that they removed the lactose substance in the milk......making it lactose free. So we can still drink our coffee and make it taste like ice cream 😁

The nail story had me rolling. My nail friend just did mine last week. I picked a light purple color, and as she was putting it on, she was like, "No, this is ugly." I'm like, but I like it 😢. She goes no, and then removes the color from my nails and then throws the whole bottle of nail polish away in the trash! 😂

@@flamefangstar oh no, generally when you go to do your nails, the nail tech give you color options and all of them are theirs. Sometimes you can take a color with you but that is not so commonly done

😂😂 I feel you lactose girl. I can't have wheat. Went on a date to a fancy restuarant, forgot to ask if there was flour in the sauce on my chicken. Thank God I took my phone and just texted him that I wasn't feeling well and he should just go. THE WAITRESS CAME IN THE BATHROOM TO ASK ME WHEN ID BE PAYING FOR MY HALF OF THE BILL. That poor waitress may still have nightmares over a decade later, I know I do! She did ask if I was OK at least but I did not leave that restaurant with my dignity. Honestly think the guy thought I was just making an excuse to dip on the bill so can't be mad at him but it WAS MORTIFYING.

The one where the girl is trying to teach the other one to say Please reminded me of a bit from an early episode of Full House. Michelle is in pre-school and it's Politeness Week. So, she's trying to get people in her house to be more polite. It backfires on her when she asks Stephanie (I don't know how the character spells her name) if she can have her cupcake. Stephanie says, "No, you may not." MIchelle says, "But I was polite and I said Please." Stephanie says, "I was polite too. I said, No you may not." Michelle gets mad, says "Politeness week is over," takes the cupcake , and runs out of the room.

As a teacher, I can confirm the tattle forms are amazing. I had my kids write tattle forms about a substitute they had 😂😂
When I was little I went to a babysitter after school till late. She had a solution to me & her 2 girls to stop tattling was to tape a towel into a rolled up "tattle tail" tail with that wrote on it that we would have to wear tucked in our shorts or pants.
As someone who’s lactose intolerant, I can assure you I can relate that girl’s story. I try to fight any digestive demons that tell me otherwise. I want my lemon gelato. 😂

I worked for a cleaning company years ago. It was my first day on the job, cleaning this really beautiful house. Half way into cleaning the bathroom I had the worst bubble guts. I am not lactose intolerant, I was just extremely nervous about starting this new job. Anyway, I destroyed the toilet with my bowl movement and then had to franticly clean up my mess in the toilet. I was hoping the bathroom exhaust fan would pull me and my stench out of that house. One of the clients who lived there came into the bathroom when I was done in the toilet and didn't even acknowledge me at all. She quickly grabbed a few things from a drawer and immediately left. Nobody complained about what happened, thankfully. I was so embarrassed, but that toilet was squeaky clean afterwards!!
I work in peoples houses all the time. Everyone should have a good fart fan and fart spray, and for the love of god leave hand soap in there.
When my dad went to pick up my mom for their FIRST date he heard the stomach rumbles too… he knew at that point that doom was eminent. He quickly introduced himself to my grandpa and asked if he could use le toilet 🚽 while my mom finished getting ready. As his bowels were about to go Armageddon on him he started struggling getting his pants of. His first instinct is to start spinning (wtf, dad?!😂) and began spraying the whole bathroom with his stomach contents, like sh*t is literally hitting the fan, the walls, the ceiling (?!)… total obliteration. There’s no escape route, blame the dog. He opened the door to find my grandparents looking at him with bucket, mop, Drano, plunger (the list gets longer every time we all relive the moment and savagely humble my dad). He cleans the carnage, apologizes, takes my mom out and… marries her! They’re happily together to this day!
I mean, how much worse could it get, really? We love a good meet-cute!

As a lactose intolerant person, I totally understand her getting that milkshake. I would too! Be it ice cream, milk shakes or extra cheese on a dish, I WILL get it! It tastes so good! My stomache can get upsetti spaghetti afterwards. I don't care. 😂

As someone who is allergic to all forms of dairy, if all I needed to do was take some of the lactose pills and deal with gas I would eat ALL the cheese, ALL the milkshakes, and ALL the whey protein I could get my gassy little hands on. 😂

Lactose intolerance is not the same as an allergy to whey protein. As far as I know, there is no magic pill for my dairy allergy.
There's also a lot of lactose free dairy products to choose from.. I have only lactose free in my fridge, but sometimes I accidentally eat lactose when I'm out, bc I always forget to ask if ut has lactose..
The lactose intolerance one KILLED me. I was eating green beans and almost choked on them from laughing so hard. Also, when I go out to eat with friends I always make sure I have at least 100 usd in my account. I never need that much but it's better to plan ahead. I literally split the bill and sometimes I splurge on my bestie because she is the light of my life and I'd probably be in jail by now without her. xD
My nephew is allergic to potatoes 🥔! Not being able to comfort a crying child with a McDonald’s French fry is just hard! 😂

OMG the 💩 story was EVERYTHING! I had a colonoscopy due to my family history of cancer. After, I was so bloated with gas it was painfullllllll. I literally had to be “farted” which included a tube in a specific orifice while a nurse pressing down on my stomach. Then when that didn’t clear it all up, I had to do the walk of same down the hallway. In a Johnnie. With a tube. And with each step I took, I farted. LOUDLY. I was HORRIFIED. But by the time I got home I couldn’t stop laughing telling the story.
The kiddos at 10:59 remind me of my younger sisters when they'd pull stunts like this on each other. The screams that followed, me trying not to laugh and mediate at the same time. Ah, memories.

The sisters at the Christmas tree had me dying. This is what my older sister use to do to me. She was such a jerk as a kid.
I serve people food at volunteer events all the time and lactose is the ONLY dietary restriction I ever question. Frankly, they get mad or pouty if I don't. I check with all of them "okay, this has cheese on it but there's an option without. Do you want the alternative or would you rather have it and suffer?"
The answer is never not "I would like to suffer, thank you."
My mom and step-dad went to visit my brother and SIL. My mom farted all the way to their bathroom. She was afraid to come back out but had to. As she sat back down, my SIL burst out laughing about it. All 4 of them roared with laughter after that. Best thing to happen because my mom dies of embarrassment when she facts in front of anyone. Lol😅

My house was built 1989-90. It's in a semi-desert so the builders were like, "nah, bathrooms don't need an exhaust fan when they're in a super hot place. A teeny-tiny window over the toilet is clearly all you need, maybe a larger window over the bathtub that is hard to reach. Also, insulation, what's that? i was raised with my brother and 4 sisters in a happy but modest home. after 7 children, my mom had gained a few pounds. the master bath only had a shower, so when my mom wanted to take a bath, usually the only time she could find was right after all us kids went to bed. the bathtub was in the hall bath, immediately between me and my brother, and my two youngest sisters.
well, let me tell you, you ain’t heard NUTHIN’ until you’ve heard a fat woman fart in a cast-iron bathtub, lol!! But the best memories were of all of us trying to hold back the laughter- the walls were paper-thin- until someone would guffaw and set all the others off- including Momma. My Mom was the grestest Mom in the World, and she was human. Rest With The Angels, Mom!

With the brunch one towards the end of the video, my friends and I went out to brunch there was like 15 of us and the bill came out to $500 and something. We all paid 45 each and everyone was fine with it. If you aint got money then don't do shit

The Lactose one, I laughed so hard, but trust me the Old Lady gets it, they fart all the time. I worked in an old folks home and have my one Grandma, they will tell you when they poop, like a toddler asking for a gold star, it is an accomplishment, don't be embarrassed.

I worked in an US Embassy in Mexico, had street tacos for lunch, went back to work and a couple of hours later I am fighting the belly demons. I had to excuse myself from a full room (meeting) and rush to the bathroom (it was the important peoples bathroom) I did not have time to get down to my office downstairs (basement - Yes - I was a nobody) to use my bathroom. OMG - as I was rushing to use said bathroom doing the duck walk - I sharted. Yes SHARTED. I was mortified. It was like I was on people of Walmart or something. Busy hallway, people coming and going. I kept my head averted and down (if I can not see them, they can not see me, right?) By the time I make it to the bathroom, which was not empty, I was already undoing my belt and unzipping my pants - this is a professional bldg, as I am sitting down the most undignified noises are coming from my bowels. I just yelled out sorry - street tacos for lunch. I hear snickering, I pulled up my feet so they others could not see my shoes (I wanted to be as anonymous as possible). I stayed in the toilet for a good thirty minutes pooping my brains out. I made up an excuse took an uber home afterwards, so I could shower and change. One of the top 10 most embarrassing moments for me.

I'm a firm believer that what comes out of a person and what it sounds and smells like ain't none of my business (I also lost my sense of smell by the time I was 10yo so it doesn't actually affect me), so unless I hear the loud thud of someone collapsing in the bathroom I'm not paying attention.
Oh my, I tend to have a strong sense of smell, so usually when I’m “punishing the world” I end up punishing myself 😂

I'm lactose intolerant and I avoid dairy at all costs when I'm out and about. But when I'm home I eat it most of the time.

I laughed so much during the lactose intolerance story, poor girl, I can totally relate 😆🤣😂 I most likely have IBS, plus while I'm not completely intolerant to lactose, I'm sensitive to it, so I also suffer from these kinds of "gotta go to the bathroom NOW, LOUDLY"-situations 😅 And for me, it can happen anytime, there's not really any particular trigger 💩
Oh yes! I also laughed so hard because it's so relatable. I also most likely have IBS. I mainly get reactions from lactose, gluten and greasy food. Nowadays I have to prepare and feel how much stomach is gonna be in advance. But still, once or twice I had to cancel plans or been in very awkward situations because of it 😂🙈
@@johannalehto9154 Yup, I have had to cancel plans as well 😅 I think for me it is also a little bit "between the ears" so to speak: If I am actively thinking about and planning to leave home and e.g. go to the local S-Market, my stomach instantly is like "nope, you're not going anywhere before you have pooped!" 💩

Hey lactose-intolerant people...buy some lactose enzyme tablets that have a 9,000 FCC (it says on the ingredient list) and chew one or two tablets before you eat any food with dairy!! They have saved me from a humiliating episode many times 😂

When I was 17, I fell from a horse and crushed the #1 lumbar vertebra in my back. I was plagued with severe pain from then on, and that one vertebra visibly bulged. I was told that pregnancy would intensify my back pain and advised to not get pregnant.
I was 30 when I was pregnant with my son, and as he grew, my back pain lessened! His weight was like traction, and that vertebra was pulled forward back into place so I no longer have that bulge and the pain left me. I'm 62 now, and I still have no pain in that part of my back.
I hope you also experience healing and much joy in motherhood!👶

I can admit that I was not a victim - I did it to myself 😮 It took me Years, no, DECADES to finally leave all dairy products A-L-O-N-E!!! 🥛 🧀🍦 🍕(if I could, I’d eat pizza and ice cream every single day!) After one particularly bad episode that took me to the ER, I decided it’s just not worth it. So thankful for wonderful dairy-free options nowadays. Thankful to still be alive to enjoy them! 🥰😄
