Easiest hack is to get a Mac user who's downloaded these apps to log into app store on your workstation and they can re- download from their purchases. Once installed, they can log out and apps are yours to keep forever... I actually got this done on my MacBook Pro 2013 today 😅
Maybe it helps: App Store / account / view information / hidden items / manage / and then you probably can find pages, numbers and keynote. Unhide and download old versions.
you need to figure out and rehearse what you plan to say so the flow is better and easy to follow without having to play back over and over until the steps are understood!

I don't see 'trials' that you mentioned in your vid. How do I get Keynote on my laptop? I have never had apple Keynote or iWorks on my MacBook Air (Mid-2012). I have High Sierra.

Doesn't seem to work for me (Catalina). It keeps telling me that I should install Quicktime Player (which I did). So I can't install the Trial version unfortunately....

When i searched for Pages i would find it, and there would be an Update button, but when i pressed it it wouldn't work, the little wheel would just keep spinning and spinning. So after that i tried deleting it like you did, but it wouldn't show up in the purchased list. I don't know why its not working. I have a late 2008 MacBook wich runs El Capitan. Has someone any idea how to get it working, or showing up in the Purchased tab?

Why wouldn't you just show how to get the iwork or just link it. if your going to show something just show the whole thing. You wasted the first 4 minutes of the vid and that could have been showing how to get iworks.

Having install iWork 09, When I go to the App Store non of the apps appear in the purchased or update tabs and it won’t let me install the latest version that would run on my iMac even if I search and click on the app. If anyone has knowledge of some kind of system preference setting that may disable this then please let me know as I’m really interested to know why this didn’t work for me because I can’t see any reason why it shouldn’t.

Catalina is 64 bit apps only. You need to install iwork 09 on Mojave or lower

If you type into google “iWork 09 trial” there are plenty of website you can download it from, there are also a lot of video on RUclips that show you how to download the trial as well.
