Alan thank you very very much for continuing to watch this I’m glad you took our word by us saying it gets better & better as it goes through the episodes to me the pot a pish under the bed is the best scene (just my opinion) let’s get to the end we can all do it together 🤘 peace Alan

I was getting a bit worried you had given up on Still Game !! Keep em coming - love your reaction to Scottish comedy which draws heavily on irony, and life itself, but with a ramrod of compassion running through the core. It is an illustration of how communities should be !

Al the reason this comedy works so well is that it is written by the 2 main stars Greg and Ford, not a huge team of writers and they are always generous with great lines for all the characters

About the wee song at the end, these guys done a sketch show called Chewin' the Fat before Still Game which had sketches with Jack and Victor. They would regularly do a sketch of the guys singing wee silly songs in the pub. There's a collection of these on RUclips. Would be absolutely amazing to see you do a reaction to these! I can't get enough of you're fecking amazing laugh!

You surprised me EB, I was expecting a big reaction there at 20:42, I was thinking wait until he sees this, he'll totally lose it!
One of my favourite funny moments from the show, still laugh loads to that seen, especially the prank just before, but when the camera's pointing at the rug with the upturned edge, you knew what was coming next!
But about the show with the poignant, heartfelt moments, this is what I also adore this programme for. Jack & Victor are seen on many occasions throughout the show's run with those types of moments. Whether it's concerned about an ol' pal on the death of his wife or the community going too far downhill.

0:45 to 0:47 to Funny that Navid mentioned he thought there was a dead rat in the shop.
Because here's a bit of trivia: Just before the fifth series started filming, a pest control team had to be called in to the studios as rats had infested Navid's shop set. The alarm was raised after Jane McCarry (who plays Isa) found a dead rat on the set.
Source: The IMDb trivia page of Still Game
Also the theme at the start is the dvd one
There are some episodes on RUclips with the original tv theme so if you react to other episodes and you notice that the theme is different then you know why lol

ALAN , Celia Imrie who plays Mrs Begg is one of the UK's top comedy actresses . you can find her in Movies like Star Wars The Phantom Menace as Fighter Pilot Bravo 5 , but she's been in dozen's of other big movies . Celia is English but she's great at acting a Glaswegian Accent this is because she's not a stranger to the city as she has family in Glasgow .
