Durian is also exotic fruit in my parents home country, all the way in East Africa, interesting to see it in Singapore as well. It's so milky from what I remember from my childhood. These vlogs are a definite treat, made me so many ideas when I visit Singapore, thanks Lois for taking us with you at least virtually :)

The original of durian is from Thailand. You will see so many kind of them. They all have so many texture especially a crispy one, the texture from outside and so soft inside. That taste is so so good.

How to go to El Nido, Palawan ? Just take a direct daily flight from Manila, Cebu or Iloilo going to Puerto Princesa Airport in Puerto Princesa City, the capital of Palawan Province , then take a ride on van, bus etc going to El Nido, Palawan. But before you explore El Nido, Palawan, I suggest you must visit first Underground River in Puerto Princesa City, it is the New Seven Wonders of the World and also Bakers Hill in Puerto Princesa City.
That durian was too ripe. Singaporean and Chinese people love very soft and very ripe Durian. You should try the one a little harder texture. Less smell and test better. 😊❤️

The segment on durians was a little underwhelming. But then again, I'm a huge durian lover so of cos that's going to be the case for me. Also, I'm not entirely sure your friends gave you good and correct information on the fruit. There's a whole spectrum of varieties of durians and different "species" (actual word is "cultivars") have different pricing, taste profile, texture, size, even colour, and period of availability even though it might seem durians are available whole year round.
