Second thing I would advise you to do is when you're using prokure make sure you cover the whole shrimp with procure and if I was you I would have been throwing a spoon but what works for you works for others so keep on fishing bro
You're fishing in shallow water with red braid, while your catch rate if pretty good it could improve. I would use a green or blue braid, when you're reeling in, your fish can see your line before your bait flies by, especially the big guys. They're less likely to see green or blue as the ocean and light project blues and greens, that's all i can think of.
I use moss green aswell brother it just so happened that I liked that color on my setup lol this area in particular is not as shallow as it seems it has some really deep pockets which is why I let the DOA shrimp sink towards the bottom but since then I have switched up to moss green lines on all my reels thanks for the tip !
@@ALGXAngler fair play, made a good decision with the green, yeah Daiwa seem infatuated with red right now. I’m a Shimano or Walker fan for Reels and Penn or Rigged & Ready for Rods.
@@craftytv3634 ohh definitely brother shimano has always been a reliable product I recently bought myself the shimano vanford and let me tell you best reel for the money ! Some of my current setups are the vanford with a gloomis inshore, shimano DC with a waterloo 6,6 for my short wading trips !
@@ALGXAngler I mostly fish with 13ft Penns and Shimano Beastmaster 10000xb’s, or Rigged & Ready 9ft Predator Rods with Jarvis Walker 3000 and Shimano fx 2500hg. I use Whiplash or Spiderwire braids with Berkley Trilene monofilament. We usually use live bait but I recently decided to give lure and gel a whiz so out in the winter chill next week to see what happens. On the matter of losing Fish, even the best Anglers on the planet lose fish.
What I do to keep the little trout from tearing up your baits is I super glue the shrimp to the hook that way I don’t have to adjust the shrimp a lot after every cast
Hey bro I have some Ward advice from using those DOA shrimp I would use super glue to make the hook and shrimp body Stay Together better that's just my experience of using you away you experienced it the hook and the baked came off use some super glue when using DOA shrimp when you open a brand new package so it won't happen to you later down the line that's just my opinion good job keep up the good work
Yes brother in this video i’m using a go pro hero 7 black with a chest mount by gopro no need for a waterproof case as gopro cameras are water proof for a certain depth !
@@813Tyler I also use a head mount on some of the other videos but yeah bro I wouldnt worry about the mounts being waterproof or what not i’d invest in floating devices for the camera as accidents do happen and i’ll tell you right now if you drop that camera you aint getting it back lol !
That same setup under a cajun thunder popping cork works just as good. D.O.A. GULP Vudoo Shrimp
Gah damn. Working a shrimp like a swim bait lol

Tip- You should wet your hands before grabbing a trout, if your hands are dry you remove their slime that helps them stay hydrated in the saltwater.
Nice one bud, dang it you lost a good fish.. dang 👍👍👍
