*Wow...Thanx for the Positive Attitude Re-Start... needed that one JC... You may consider, if so inclined... On your jig head, first hook a piece of natural sponge that's been cut into 1/2" cubes... then slide the soft bait up to the sponge pushing it secure. With a hardware store bought syringe and dull needle... infuse just a little drop or two of pro cure scent into the sponge... repeat every 5 casts or so... Hey, save a buck or two so that pro cure scent goes a really long way baby* I Really do, as more and more folks do as well, appreciate and look forward to your vids JC... gw

Thanks sharing your wisdom JC. I am a very sick man, polycistic kidneys and 11 yrs dialysis, removed from kidney list but I will have heart surgery in January, 3 heart valves and then hopefully, God's will, I can get back on list for a new kidney. My dream is to be able to fish again soon. Your fishing adventures inspire me and help me to see my dream thru faith in God Thanks for your on special way of producing quality vids with the gifts God has given you... tight lines brother!
JC, try what the pros do, find stucture in much deeper water. Like Large mouth Bass, the bigger fish seem to move DEEPER when they grow up. And seem to look for lager prey.
fished that area last week under siesta drive bridge, I think its called nora park. I was on land, its where the charter boat picks up people. I was on the south side and schools of 10 and 15 pound jacks kept coming through. I had a hell of a workout. also caught 3 flounders all keepers. you should check it out on falling tide. Great video as always.
@@RadReelingFishing hope to see you around, Love the Saltyscales gear, I have the shirt and gloves also. My friend Rick books a charter with Josh all the time. My Instagram is rdo120 if you want to see some of the fish I been getting this week. I got a snook and red this week and multiple species. 👍
Stumbled on your video bc I went out today and got skunked. Felt like the beginning message about hope was like you were talking directly to me. Thanks for that you are very right
Great video JC. I use the Procure often with the mirodine when getting short strikes it seems to make them commit. With so many grouper hanging out there's not much else cause they eat them all
had the same thing happen to me years ago.drifted over one in my kayak ,didnt know what is was ,then felt the scraping of the back on the bottom hull,he was sleeping(not for long)big explosion of water lifted the front of the kayak two feet out of the water, took me about 10 minutes to figure out what happened and to catch my breath, never forget that one! Tight Lines JC..
Grouper after grouper after grouper. No keepers but still a good day man. I like putting some of my soft plastics in a zip lock back with a bit of anise oil. I’ve found the sent of that works for me. Give it a shot sometime and see how it works.
Loved the heavy metal while you're slaying the little guys! Get some bigger bait, live pin fish or something of the sort and hit those docks again. There's sometimes bigger grouper down under those docks! Awesome footage, live the positive vibes and I loved that cocnut!
Love your opening scene of launch - your video skills have been much improved, it's just beautiful like in the movies. Thank you from some one who lives in the Arabic dessert!
Hope and faith is what gets us through, brother. Fun day for sure catching all those grouper. I haven’t used scented baits much in salt but in fresh water where I fish the most, especially for bass, I make my own garlic/coffee scents. I use an olive oil base and I use it on my soft jerk baits and even on my hard baits as well. It seems to take that human scent or say an unnatural scent off of the bait and the fish seem to hold onto the bait longer. Stands to reason that it would work in a saltwater fishery like you fish. Good stuff!
Hey bro thank you so much I need to hear this so much I suffer from a bad case of depression and I don’t wanna take medication because it gives me bad side effect but I like the idea and suggestion you gave in this video I would do it myself
Lol I know what you mean about the Manatee. One morning I was fishing Mosquito Lagoon, wade fishing. I see this dark shadow approaching me, in waist deep water. This thing is coming right at me. I had no idea what it was. I start moving as fast as I can trying to get out of there. My dad is there and laughing his ass off at me. I thought it was a shark. Nope, just a manatee.
Started off watching your videos snooking bridges at night and fell into a slump when you got into the kayak craze, don’t know why I too have a fishing yak and a solo skiff but you got it going on now. Guess I didn’t want the change of your fishing style because I enjoyed seeing you horse those giant snook in from the bridge lights. Your thoughts of enjoyment of life with your fishing made me think, and I got to say this was one of your best clips! Have to agree on the pro cure salt shrimp. I just found that using a tad on my Ned rigging has turned my bass fishing around for the good, it seems to get those cold water bass to hit. Last two days were great. Going out to try again today just to see if it was a fluke. Keep on keeping on 👍
Thanks for commenting, I'm glad you found some encouragement in this video. I've actually been shore Snook fishing twice this week, bombed out both times. I'll get a big girl here soon. The best thing about the yak is I can fish anywhere. I'm finding many more species of fish and enjoying trying some different methods of catching them.
Good one JC! I was looking at that fish hook gripper thingy when I saw you with it before so thanks for the link, but it's coming up as out of stock. Will have to try again in the new year. Merry Christmas & tight lines!
Would you, in your next video, explain what types of fish you are catching? We don't have those types around here at Surfside Texas and I would like to learn something about them. Thank you for your videos.
Thanks for watching and commenting. All of the fish caught in this video are bottom dwellers. The flounder, grouper and mangrove snapper can be caught year round in SW Florida.
Hey JC the struggle is real. This time of year and the catch and release of all the good fish has kinda thrown a monkey wrench into the program but glad to see u still out there grinding trying to make chicken salad out of chicken sh..t!!!!😎
Well I have had them before and if fried up good they are not too bad. The problem is we all get spoiled on all the good fish and then when u switch to that it just doesn't really compare. But a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!!! Mangroves and shrimp is my choice👍👍😎
Great observation...I'm up in the air on that one...I did take the stairs once. It seems like either way it's not a very user friendly place. I do enjoy the workout.
@@RadReelingFishing they are large kayaks! At the end of the day all it matters is you made it to the water. Let me know when you're ready to install a fish finder and I will send you a Predator Series Handle Mount - ruclips.net/video/xuwensLRFLo/видео.html
Question on the Pro Cure, Would you consider doing a vid using procure on hard plastics? I'm curious to see how your hook up rate changes (if any) for Snook, Reds, Jacks, Smacks ... What is your best guess as to how the Pro Cure would change things for those fish (if at all)? My guess is that your Redfish hook up would go up. Also, any other fish that is smell sensitive. I don't think it would affect the Snook and Spanish hook up though. Love your vids! This one was fantastic - including how you set up to get your yak into the water. Great quality!
Nice video JC! What do you attribute so many small fish and no keepers? Over fishing, red tide kill last year or you aren't in the right spot? Just curious on what you think. It would be nice to be rewarded with at least one keeper!
That area like many others in saltwater depend upon a certain migration of fish. I may have missed it, or it hasn't happened yet, our the red tide has really depleted the population of the fish I was hoping to catch. I'll try it again in a couple of weeks.
thank you for that inspirational message on Hope going through some stuff right now needed that JC bless you brother
I’m with Greg Newton , great inspiration message on hope. You gained a subscriber.
