This was amazing! I know you have had so many challenges this week but here is what I see- I see a beautiful farm, I see a thriving toddler, I see an amazing loving family that is living their dream. Thank you for the reminder that life really is about the journey. It’s important to see the blessings in each day.
Thank you Blake! We are so appreciate of your support 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Hi there! Rita here, just changed my moniker. I wanted to say not to forget that you are not far post partum and if you feel a little blue about the situation please be kind to yourself. Hormonally it can be a tough time, speaking from experience. And I live in a suburban home with a small lot and there is always something that needs tending to, so I imagine it’ll just be a fact of life for you all but it’s all a labour of love. Good luck with the water situation, in particular. The farm looks lovely!
Thank you Reet, we are so appreciate of your support 🇵🇹❤️🙏
John, next time. You buy bulbs, cut them in halves through the growing site on the bottom of each bulb to get twice as many. You can even divide them into quarters, so long as you have a bit of the growing site on each one. What a lovely video this is and l thank you for sharing your journey with us. It always makes me smile and feel good. 💖
Thank you Jill, that is a great idea! Thanks so much for watching friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
That’s right, they can be cut is a few peaces.
Thanks, Jill. Will dig some up I planted this morning!
What you’re referring to is the bulb’s basal plate. I wouldn’t cut them anymore in than in half. It takes them 2 to 3 years to recover and gain enough maturity to bloom. Daffs are Mediterranean in origin, so @thenewbys have the right conditions for growing. Planting depth should be 3 x the bulb height. Most varieties require 5 or more sun hours. At seasons, end, scatter annual flower seeds, like zinnias over the daffodils. They will take up any moisture you may get over the course of the summer and keep the daffodil bulbs from rotting. Yes, they are wonderfully dependable plants and I know you all will enjoy them for years to come! FYI I grow more than 100 varieties of daffodils, and am an American Daffodil Society accredited judge😉
@@TheNewbys John, please dont miss Darrin Ellis May’s reply.
You Newbys are made of tough stuff!! When life throws you a curved ball...you still see the positives and keep smiling. Its a great reminder to us all I feel that sometimes we need to stop, take a breath and realise there is usually a solution to our problem if we take our time.. and believe in our dreams. You are truly a great inspiration.
Thank you Patricia, we are so appreciate of your support 😊🙏🏼❤️
Stunning shot of the valley!
Thank you Sydney ❤️❤️❤️
Just quoting in Caruso's words,
"Wow, cheers, and me." Life's a bit of a struggle coming back to the farm. But on a positive note, if it was in the condition of when you arrived last year, and now having two little ones.... You may have gotten back in the van. Now it's Home, the Newbys are back. 😊
Thanks friend! His vocabulary is growing each and every day! You are quite right, we are Home. Thanks so much for watching and your constant support friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
I pray my daughter will find a man like John. A really, really good man. Hugs from the Philippines
This may seem cheesy, but I teared up seeing all you’ve lovingly accomplished. Tara you are correct it’s a lifetime project. John the lawn looks amazing and Crusoe planting the tulips brought me back to gardening with our children when they were little. See you next Sunday! 💖💖~Cara
Praying for water!!
Thanks so much Cara, I am so proud of John and what he has accomplished with the lawn. See you next week friend. Sending you lots of hugs and thanks for your constant support 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
I think that is the reason I enjoy these videos. It does take me way back when we purchased 20 acres in the interior of BC 🇨🇦. We built our house and raised our children. We were 3kl. Up a mountain and 10 KL from town. I would drive the kids down the mountain to catch the school bus. A busy time.
Our driveway was 500 feet long and the owner of the near by Dairy farm would bring his tractor to dig us out in the Winter as it could snow 3 feet in one night. Sometimes more.
@@kellyprice1024 they truly show us their passion for their new home and all the challenges! They are making memories as you did. 💖~Cara
Beautiful sunrise, thank you for sharing. When I was 18 in 1978 upon graduating high school my first adult job was working the greenhouses. I planted so many tulip bulbs, delivered straight from Holland in the wooden crates! We grew poinsettias from cuttings and so on. I developed a wealth of knowledge and love for plants during those 4 years until I married. The daffodils will be beautiful come Spring. Crusoe was definitely a big help! I absolutely love and enjoy watching your family. You truly deliver a punch of videos for us RUclipsrs!! Have a great week!
The sunrises here are beautiful Sissy, thanks so much for watching friend. We are so appreciate of your support ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for showing me the natural beauty of my country of birth. I was born in Lisbon but live in Canada. As a city child I would spend most part of my summers at my auntie's farm in the Central Interior of Portugal, but I never looked at the beauty of nature on the farm as you do, and through you I am learning to open my eyes and see such Beauty that was there, but I never realized, so for that I thank you.
Thanks Mary, we are so glad you enjoyed this episode! Sending you lots of love to Canada 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
The drone shots are lovely but it would help even more if you superimposed the shot with boundaries so we can see what exactly is yours. You could even (she asks, cheekily) divide the drone’s picture of the farm up into fields, terraces etc., which would also help. 😙
Thanks Madeleine, we will definitely look into doing something like that! Thanks so much for watching friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Rapidamente vai ficar tudo lindo. Your Farm is the paradise for the childrens.
Thanks so much Maria 😊🙏🏼❤️
Greetings from Pennsylvania in the states...praying for all of you....watching is so much fun!!!!
Thank you Diane 😊🙏🇵🇹❤️
I loved Crusoe's little "cheers" at the end. I also love how you have encouraged his sense of adventure and curiosity as he trots along with you, amusing himself while you are busy. Thank you for the tour of the farm. You've done so much already, it's amazing!
Thank you Susan, we are so appreciate of your support 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Crusoe truly is in his natural habitat on that beautiful farm. He is so free and happy running, and exploring, digging in the earth, eating fruit from the trees. What a healthy wholesome outdoor life you guys are creating for your growing family. I really admire your vision. Its so nourishing and uplifting to witness.
Thanks so much Jo 🇵🇹❤️🙏
It's looking great ,when it's finished it will be beautiful with 2 beautiful little boys running around and of course helping
We can't wait for that moment Sue, Thanks so much for watching 🇵🇹❤️🙏
We'll be moving there in about 3-4 years (feels like an eternity) and this is what I wish for my kids... THIS IS LIFE!!!! As a Jamaican couple, we appreciate ALL that Mother Nature has gifted us. We also hope to produce ALL the fruits and veggies that our family consumes. All the best and thank you for bringing us on this AMAZING journey. God speed🥰🤗❤️😘
That is very exciting Roxanne! Thanks so much for watching friend, we are so appreciate of your support 😊🙏🇵🇹❤️
I'm aware how much work it is to make these videos, but I wish there were many more. I enjoy watching your progress so much!!!
Thanks so much friend, we are so appreciate of your support ❤️❤️❤️
They plant roses here in South Germany at the start of every row of vines in a vineyard, they are a early warning system for plant fungal diseases, they'll show signs before the vines kinda thing. That's my theory for the rogue roses.
Edit: The clover in your lawn is a sign of a lack of nitrogen(fertiliser) in the soil, clover can use the nitrogen from the air so it could take over a wee bit.
ATB Chris.
Thank you Chris, that is very interesting! We are so appreciate of your support and advice. Thanks so much for watching friend 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
Luckily clover is edible
On Sundays after spending my time in the word & Praising our Lord, I head right to my iPad to enjoy the video from the Newby’s !
Thank you Tammy ❤️❤️❤️
Gostei muito do vosso vídeo querida família. ❤😉🌸🌾🌺🌾😘
Thank you Graca 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Welcome home Newbys 😘
Thanks so much Lisa 🇵🇹❤️🙏
You guys should put hammocks by the house for the summer ❤
That's a great idea Thomas! Thanks so much for watching friend 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
Lovely to see Crusoe 'helping' plant those bulbs with you John, building memories together. Hope you're all settling back in, there'll be new discoveries with each change of season, enjoy these precious moments!
He absolutely loves helping his dad with all kinds of things, even if it means that the project might take a little longer than expected. Thanks so much for watching friend, sending you lots of hugs ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Newbys Family... I love Crusoe with his brother... so lovely ! Votre maison et son grand jardin sont magnifiques ! Beau travail. Bon week-end et à bientôt. Evelyn
Thanks so much for watching Evelyn, we are so appreciate of your support 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Um passo de cada vez. Aproveitem a felicidade e liberdade dos pequeninos e a vossa. Tudo tem o seu tempo e propósito. Felicidades para os quatro.
Thank you Filomena 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Great to see you settling back again in your farm. Hope you have water again soon. Loved the tour of your land and hearing about all your plans. I know you will achieve them over time. I marvel at your energy and zest for life. It inspires me and others. Crusoe and Sawyer are blessed to have you as parents. You have a loving and relaxed way with them. That beautiful song towards the end had me in tears. So relevant. Just back from Porto. We expected the rain there, but enjoyed every moment nonetheless. The Portuguese people are so friendly and helpful. You chose a wonderful country to raise your boys. Stay happy and savour each moment. 👍
Thanks so much for watching Noreen, the Portuguese people are incredibly friendly! Sending you lots of love friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
your little one has changed so much that he actually looks like a different child. still cute !!
Thank you Sheila 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Esse sítio é muito lindo! Os bebés são maravilhosos! Felicidades para todos vós. ❤️
Thanks so much Manuela ❤️❤️❤️
I know that it's a lot of work but even in it's current condition it's breathtaking. It's magical. It's what fairytales are made of!
Thank you friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Hello TheNewbys, you don't know how good it is to see you again on your family mission. I particularly love you as a person as a family as everything!! I can't wait to see the children run, play ball and even play in the tree house, it will be beautiful, a childhood like few nowadays. I was already forgetting in the new images I thought I saw edible mushrooms or am I wrong?! Hugs dear family I love you.🥰💞👍🙏
Hi Emanuel! Thanks so much for watching and pointing out the edible mushrooms! We didn't even see them. Sending you lots of love 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
Hy guys, welcome back, warning: a very long message coming about gardening tips. ;)
1. I wanted to tell you before, that grass seeds usually don't come in monocultured packs.(just in specific cases, like a golf field) Normally there should be 2-4 types of seeds in a bag, whose complementing each other. And small weeds, flowers always grow into your field, if you don't kill them meticulously, so you don't have to be afraid.
2. Your water well with the "bad" water can not be a bad thing. There're cheap water filtering systems, DIY or for sale too, you can definitely try them out, even if not for drinking, but at least you can use it for showering or washing. for example: clear coal make it drinkable, and nowadays you can by a filter in a size of a can...
3. About composting: You don't have to learn the basics now, but there're a few dos and donts.:
You musn't throw in any type of: meat, dairies(milk, joghurt,butter,...), breads, and if you want to use it after 1 year, then branches thicker than a finger. Don't throw in walnut leaves and of course, still green bamboo! (Hold onto raw eggs shells, wash them and dry, then they"re the best fertilizer, don't need composting!)
If you throw in something: easiest way, is to always throw in the same amount of "green" as the 'brown" stuff. (green:grass, fresh branches, vegetables, brown:dry stuff, leaves, dirt)
Don't forget, that it has to be a little bit wet, so build a closed composter or give a bucket of water sometimes. -> didn't I already wrote about this? ... hmm...
4. Lowest terrace ideas:
First I thought why don't you plant some berries down there. If you pick some with thorns, the place is far from the house so you don't have to be careful being always close to them. + wild animals, whose like berries too, wont be coming closer to the house too.
My other idea was, to build a big, natural water reservoir(pond). Your hillside easily losing much water, and the water bring dirt and plants in a bigger storm, so if you have a place to stop at the bottom, is a great way, to stop eroding. And of course, it's usable for you and enrichen the flora and fauna of the garden...
Sorry I alway write long, but want to help. Good luck!
ps.:Tara try to sleep some, next to the new boy, I know how hard it is...
Hi Andrea, wow thank you SO much for all your suggestions! We love hearing from you and will definitely look into everything you shared with us. Thanks so much for watching friend 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
Portugal in the one of the best day………bom regresso a Portugal
Thanks so much for watching Paulo 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Seeing John holding both of the little ones was a great pleasure.
Yes, Tara, mother nature is generous with people who love her and you all will make such a good friend of her. Even with challenging weeks.... Wishing you all to capture the best sensations out of your paradise.
Finally if I can add one more thought. You’re right to be patient. The finest thing you’re creating and growing this first year is your love of the land and your place in the sun. It’s beautiful.
Thank you friend, sending you lots of hugs! 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Mint grown along roses is a great deterrent to aphids, bugs etc. You can also make a compost from mint to top dress crops to deter pests. I am guessing you have a 'crop' of rose fields
Thank you Moira, that is a great idea! Thanks so much for watching friend 😊🙏🇵🇹❤️
Mom and Dad you are good to watch, but Crusoe is becoming the star of the show.! He is so cute! Love the way he is always on cue with is little chirps.
Good luck with all the projects. It makes for good watching.
Thanks so much for watching Marietjie, we are so appreciate of your support friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Hello Maria! Thanks so much for watching friend. You can have a look at their website uk.ecoflow.com/pages/portable-power-stations?aff=67 to see the different options
Em que parte do norte é isto? Eu vivo há muito na Inglaterra nasci em Lisboa e cresci no norte de Portugal
Newbys, welcome back home & congrats on your beautiful 2nd son. May you all thrive in 🇵🇹, for I saw little Crusoe happy to be back. Your farm is a dream I kid you not. I wonder if you have given it a name? The views you have are stunning, and I am sure so will be the life you live. Continue upkeeping & upgrading for what you have is special. Involve the local community, for they are as thrilled (as we are) that you have chosen their home, our little gem of a country, in which to reside. Cannot wait to see the progress and your life unfolding as you move forward. Much love fm Santarém 🤗❤️🇵🇹
Thanks much M Silva, it’s wonderful to hear from you Ana we so appreciate your lovely message, we are so happy to be home in beautiful Portugal and w we feel very very lucky to be here 🙏🏼 we have not named our farm yet, we have been waiting for something to come to us but nothing stands out yet 🤔 let’s see! 😘
Oh happy day, back on the farm!!! Exciting times! I have wondered, ever since watching, what the L-shaped posts/pillars are? Supports for the grape vines? 🍷 well, John just answered my question 🤣🤣🤣 What a gorgeous place you have to raise your family!! Thank you for sharing it with all of us!!
Thanks so much for watching Sandra, yes the support posts were for grape vines! 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
You will have to continue to "Be Brave" as you make this beautiful property your home. Thank you for sharing this journey :)
You are quite right Pam! Thanks so much for watching 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
Yaay i can't wait to watch this! I have been anticipating the tour video all week 😍🙌🏼
Thanks so much for watching friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
There is a Hindu saying here in Bali..Every day is an offering....So no matter what the day brings...there is always a new day to follow..love the show .look forward to it every sunday..🙏🙏
We love that saying Gia, thanks for sharing that with us 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Top pasture would work really well as a small market garden/ vegetable garden. Nice sun, close to the house, easy access to the road…plenty of room for beds of potatoes, tomatoes, cabbages, squash, garlic etc you could also keep chickens up there for compost and easily accessible for eggs. Just a thought. 😊 loving all your ideas, projects and potential!
Thank you so much Annie! Those are great ideas friend, we will definitely look into those. Thanks so much for watching friend 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
When we moved on to 100 acres in Victoria Australia we had no water supply at all. So for my birthday I requested a water tank. I got a 100 thousand litre tank that provided us with all the water we needed. It was put together on site and was made of corrigated iron and with a food safe liner inside. The water came from the roof of our house and sheds A small tank next to your new kitchen would provide you with clean drinking water from your kitchen roof. I recently went to a one day farm workshop and loved the composting talk. One turns the compost for 19 days to air rate it. The results were amazing. All the best for your new kitchen project.
Lorraine from down under
Wow that is a great gift Lorraine! Sadly our birthdays are in August and September, so maybe a Christmas gift will do! 😉 Thanks so much for watching friend, we are so appreciate of your support 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
Thank you for the tour. You have a wonderful place.😊
Thank you Beverley! We are so appreciate of your support friend 😊🙏🏼❤️ 🇵🇹🏡
The Newbys are like a hot chocolate in winter you can't live without it, thank you for sharing
Ah thanks Luis! This comment put a smile on our faces. We appreciate you and your constant support ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Newby family 👋🏻 - Welcome wee Sawyer. Tara, totally understand your frustration and excitement. It is an amazing piece of land with abundant potential to realise the Newby visions. Your beautiful boys will be thriving learning such useful life skills and developing their knowledge and confidence. My favourite memories as a teenager was when my folks bought some bush land to start a nature conservancy. Everything was built by hand and totally off grid. I think it was the most satisfying time of our family lives because even though it was hard work taking about 6 years - each muck up and accomplishment was full of memories and tremendously satisfying. I do have some regrets not having brought up my daughter in the way you folks are doing. Your vlogs are inspiring me to get on with a long held dream to go into van life for a bit find some land build an off grid Tiny Hone. Live how we really want to live because that’s what it’s really all about isn’t it?
Hi Piper, those are incredible memories. Thanks so much for sharing that with us! Sending you lots of love friend 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
hi there, do you know that the mushrooms in the video are edible? it is speciality. Parasol Mushroom or Umbrella Mushroom. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macrolepiota_procera and greetings from Slovenia.
Happy family, lucky and happy us to be invited to share with you those moments of life. See you next week. 😘😘😘😘
Thank you Florie 🇵🇹❤️🙏
For future bulb planting, there is a digger attachment you can buy for your drill. Makes the hole digging a whole lot easier 😊, especially if you have a battery operated drill.
Thanks so much Christine, we will definitely look out for that drill bit! Great to hear from you friend, we are so grateful for your support! 🇵🇹❤️🙏
So sad condolences to his family and friends . I know the words can’t ease your pain but I hope you know we’re thinking of you . Please accept my most heartfelt and deepest condolences 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks Ditas. Great to hear from you, thanks for watching friend.
Wow so glad you are back gorgeous children ❤
Thanks so much for watching Melanie 😊🙏🇵🇹❤️
The farm is lovely, and I believe the stone outcroppings are far more ancient than you know. Find a friend to date the stones that appear so square or rectangular. Enjoy. I am 75 and only wish I was your age again when all the projects of life where ahead of me. I have no doubt you two will work hard but enjoy the nature around you and your wonderful boys as they grow.
Thank you Maggi 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
You both are so right in your comments-last week with John saying to just enjoy each piece of life and not just wait for the next phase. And Tara saying to have patience. Both good lessons for me!
Thank you Kate, we are so glad you enjoyed the last two episodes ❤️❤️❤️
Love your videos. I live near a coast and we always say "Red sky at night sailor's delight, red sky in morning, sailor's warning."
Thanks so much for watching friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
What a gorgeous place you have your children will have the place to live I love Portugal and wish you every success in your farm
Thank you Mike 🇵🇹❤️🙏
😀😀😀. The joy of having a young child helping you ❤
It is the best Luana, Thanks so much for watching friend 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
It seems as though planning for extremes in weather and climate is becoming the norm. Other Portuguese "homesteaders" have been mentioning the same challenges with the rain that you have. Your positivity and dedication to creating your ideal homestead so that your family can flourish are inspiring. On top of all of your projects and responsibilities, you continue to produce such awesome content. Bravo, and saúde!
Thank you Alan 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Awww....of course I'll leave you a comment! ♥️
I'm helping my father on his property. It's always rewarding to see him happy with the improvements. He can't do like he could when he was younger.
May Jesus be with you both as you raise your little boys! 😊
Thank you Rhonda, best of luck with your fathers property! Crusoe and Sawyer send lots of hugs! Thanks so much for watching, your constant support is so very much appreciated! ❤️❤️❤️

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you so much for sharing this experience. Thru your vlog you have managed to transverse your feelings about your life. It may not be perfect but you sure look happy. Love this channel. Love to see Crusoe and Sawyer. Crusoe is such a wonderful little man. Again thank you. See you in the next one.

Your family and all your plans are lovely to hear and know we'll share in the journey. As a South African, the Ecoflow is my big dream. Imagine electricity from the sun (or a plug) even when Eskom doesn't want to get their act together.
Thanks so much for watching Liesel, EcoFlow has been amazing for us so we can just imagine how much it can help you in South Africa! Here is a link to their website uk.ecoflow.com/pages/portable-power-stations?aff=67 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Continuem assim!
Thanks Ana, warm bread and cookies sound delicious! Thanks so much for watching friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Your place is just like Eden...peaceful and lovely...big kiss too all of you...
Thanks so much Anki, we absolutely love it on the farm 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Another lovely video. How frustrating, all that rain and you don’t have water on tap when you need it! I think you are doing a brilliant job and you all have such a positive attitude. Well done
Thanks so much Karen, you are too kind! Sending love to you friend ❤️❤️❤️
I could not wait to see you back at the farm . I never loved a family so much as yours. You are a joy to my heart. It is everything l believed in . It is time for you to settle and fix the things that need to be righted, and take roots. You need staying power and to stop rolling for a while. There is a time for everything . You are richly blessed, and thank you for sharing .
Thank you Raffaella, that is so kind of you to say! we are so appreciate of your support friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
What a wonderful farm tour! Thank you ❤ The farm has so many wonderful possibilities, a lifetime of planning and pleasure. Don’t forget to take time off to smell those beautiful roses💐I’d love to see more wildflower meadow planting to encourage the bees🐝 Big hugs for you both and those gorgeous babies. Thanks for showing us around your beautiful farm. It really is a slice of heaven. And yes you are right Tara, Rome wasn’t built in a day! ❤
Thank you Anne, we are so appreciate of your support 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Welcome home. Hope there are no dramas with the new kitchen and it progresses well. Also that your water problem is rectified sooner rather than later. All your plans sound fabulous, but Tara, you must remember the saying " that Rome wasn't built in a day " and as each project is completed it will be all the more special. Thank you again for sharing your journey with us. Glenda, from Melbourne, Australia. 🙂❤
Tara just look at all you have achieved in the short time you have owned this property. Then take into consideration the you were pregnant, away for three months, and you had your precious baby. So pat yourself on the back, you, John and Crusoe have done an amazing job. 🌸
Thanks so much Irene. A lot has happened in the last three months you're quite right friend. Sending you lots of love and thanks for your constant support 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️

Hello explorers! In some zones of Portugal the Roses are planted in the begining of a line of each tipe of vine, meaning that each tipe/ colour of the Rose corresponds to a different tipe of vine and future grapes!
Hello Sonia, oh wow that is interesting! Thanks so much for sharing that with us 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
@@TheNewbys you're welcome! That was my pleasure! It's beautiful the freedom that que can feel you feel in that beautiful piece ok land! Crusoe's expressions of joy are priceless!

Hi Tara John Crusoe and Sawyer. Pamela here. Lovely to see you back on your farm beginning your adventures with your two beautiful sons. I hope Tara you are getting enough rest with your newborn!! I have two apple trees, a plum tree, a small miniature cherry tree, raspberries, blackcurrants and of course a pear tree. I planted it 20 years ago and it grew so fast and yields loads of beautiful pears which are one my favourite fruits. I definitely suggest to plant some pears trees if you like pears. I would love a fig tree but that’s for when I get to Greece. So lovely to hear about your plans for your home. It looks so tranquil. It will be a work in progress but you will get there. Best wishes as always. Pamela. ❤❤
Hi Pamela, Crusoe would be VERY happy if we planted a pear tree! Thanks so much for watching friend 🍐🇵🇹❤️🙏

Hi Tara and John. Where do I find out about the eco flow solar panels? I really like the sound of them and they would be perfect for when I go back to Greece. Thank you. Pamela.
You are blessed with so many good places where you can grow flowers and such a good climate for all things. Plus, your growing season is seemingly endless .
We are very lucky indeed Shirley. Thanks so much for watching friend 😊❤️🙏🏼🇵🇹
Hello Newby Family, so happy to see you back on the farm. Sorry to hear about the issues and rain and stuff, but like you said Tara, this is a life project
and sometimes things just don't directly work as planned, but you two are tough and together you will get it done. John that lawn looks amazing and
will give the boys such a great place to run and play. Your future plans for the farm sound wonderful. Something for that one terrace maybe a secret garden?
with relaxing herbs and flowers, some yoga area, maybe a barrel sauna? Anyway enjoyed the video as always and see you next week. Loads of love to you all.
Hello Anja. A secret garden, we LOVE that idea! Thanks so much for watching friend, we are so appreciate of your support 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️

So nice to see you back. Rain is absolutely needed.
Thanks Linnea 😊🙏🏼❤️
I think it does us all good to step back and realise just what we’ve achieved, and in your case it really has been in a short space of time, plus the lovely new addition to the Newby family. Someone told me a long time ago to be kind to myself, and whilst I’m not good at giving advice, this is a sentiment I’m always keen to share. Take care xx
You are quite right friend, we do need to be kind to ourselves. Thanks so much for watching 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Welcome home Newbys and thanks for the drone footage, it helped understand better the lay of your land.... and what is also such a beautiful area in Portugal that you've chosen!
Thanks so much for watching friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
I love that you are taking the time to get to know your farm and what nature is showing you. Such a magical place to raise your dear family. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Deborah, we absolutely love the farm! Thanks so much for watching friend 😊🙏🇵🇹❤️
So glaad you all are home. I wonder if the little fox will show back up
Thanks so much friend, you are too kind! Great to hear from you friend, we are so grateful for your support! 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Sometimes, we need to put our expectations aside and accept that life has its own time for some things, right?
I am sure you will get this all done, step by step.
Really happy for you, guys. And can wait to see what you are doing in the building next to the main one. 👀 Haha
Have a wonderful week!
You are quite right Adriano. One step at a time and we will get there! Thanks so much for watching friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
I love the way you include Crusoe in jobs.
He absolutely loves it Susan! Thanks so much for watching friend 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
If ever anyone asked for a description of an African child, it most definitely would be Crusoe!!! He thrives on the farm, he loves the wide spaces and just reminds me of little boys on a farm in Africa 😊😊😊
We LOVE this comment Rene, we are so happy our boys can run around on the farm! Thanks so much for watching friend 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
EcoFlow is a very useful product. I'm giving my daughter one as she moves into her first apartment. She will put the panels out on the patio. The history of the Portuguese harnessing their water is very interesting to us Australians (on the same latitude). You have already done a lot to renovate the farm which has not been lost in the last 3 months. Keep going, you're not alone. 🙂
Thank you Wendy, we are sure your daughter will love her product! Thanks so much for watching friend, we are so appreciate of your support 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Hi Wendy. It’s a good idea… the cost of electricity is escalating in Oz…. Which one did you buy your daughter? I’m also in a flat.. hopefully there’s enough sun on the balcony to charge the eco flow!
"who wants to go to a swim?", adorei a reação do Crusoe ☺️
Thanks Marco, Crusoe absolutely LOVES swimming! 👍🙏🇵🇹🏡❤️
Woo-hoo🎉here we go again👏👏Good to see you back you Fabulous 4 🤗
Must say you lovely family looks great in the UK but Portugal really "becomes you" 😍☺️😀Have a lovely Sunday💋
Thanks so much for watching Carla, we all absolutely love Portugal! We are so appreciate of your support friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
I love watching your authentic way of living and learning and groqing up your boy(s). I understand you, Tara to want to help building up everything and it's great to hear you stopped getting into a struggle and realize, it's a lifetime project and needs time...same as you and your body need to recover....I was a restless young mother once a while in the 80s....renovating an abandoned old farm could have been exactly my thing, but I took other challenges. So, it's twice as nice to join your trip with all its challenges. I wish you four all the best!!
Thank you Tina, sometimes we need to take a break. Thanks so much for watching friend 🇵🇹❤️🙏
Hey guys, Im so glad ur back to the farm ❤ which looks amazing btw...It's really a treat to see all your love and respect for your "new" home and witness cute Crus (soon joined by his little brother) to grow up ❤ love from Czech Adela ❤
