If you just sit very still right before dusk in that area you'll get a decent picture of a rabbit/hare whatever they are. Think I have a couple from this last springtime.
Some friends and I go jeep camping in the general area of Mountain View tank semi-regularly. It's one of my favorite destinations for desert camping!
It's a spectacular section of desert around there.
Was there a spigot?
No spigot at Mountain View... You just have to climb the ladder and dunk.
