So informative, it is a delight to watch you make this painting. Thank you for showing that a mistake is not the end of a project.just another step in creating.
This is a real teacher's explanation. Thank you so much Yong! Good on you. Have watched all your videos and planning to watch them many times again and follow your steps. Look forward more!
thank you Yong Chen...I am a beginner in watercolour but experienced in oils...amazing amount of work and washes in watercolour to get that depth and luminosity....beautiful work and enjoyed your instruction.
Do you have any tutorials on how to use watercolor thats straight from the tube? Im still new to watercolor and i dont really understand how to use it. Any tips? Do i have to let it dry? Again, grean job on the painting!
Hello! I just stumbled upon this today. How lovely! Thank you for your demonstration. Your love for watercolor shines through. :) Can you tell me which are the brushes used here? Round and flat... i like how they seem to be handling the water and color.
This was amazing...........I thought it was going to be a bad painting ( I would have stopped and thrown away), but you knew what you were doing all along :) Thank you for sharing this. I will not stop until it looks good from here on :)
I like your style as i paint the same way...wet on wet background, move the colors around, than accent color in layers of wash. I like the way you fixed your accident, LOL. I also take color away the same way...very nice painting! I uploaded a video with photos of me painting a Frank Lloyd Wright home, in watercolor. A little different as i layer wash down, more discipline. Have a look and comment if you can.

Dear sir Yong, thank you for your valuable video lesson. May I ask you, why do we wash out the first layer? Where else could we use this technique?
Beautiful. Thank you for the lesson. I learned so much from your demonstration.
Very very interesting, for the techniques... And a very beautiful result! Yourpaper does not buckle! Which one do you use, please? Thank you!
I taped the paper sides to the pad that way the paper won't buckle up when it's wet. Thanks for noticing.
beautiful...!!!!

Learned a lotThanks

Did you use the indigo blue or ultra marine blue? Thank you, wonderful tutorial, great explanations.
Kim, I have indigo blue and ultramarine blue, but I rarely use them. I don't have them on this color palette. I used Prussian Blue here.
Thank you, Yong Chen. Does the reason for not using the indigo blue and ultra marine have to do with the "flattening" of the intensity?
lovely
Thanks
Thank you!
:)
