    Very important movement. I have this down on my forehand just intuitively every time, however , I find it challenging to execute on the Backhand ( one handed Backhand) side. Could you demonstrate the how to space on the single handed Backhand?

    I believe that “too close to the ball” is very often nothing else than “too late to the ball”. If you can take the ball further in front, the ball will always be comfortably away from the body.

      excellent point Phil :) however it is also important to have what we call diagonal spacing to the ball. This allows you to truly swing inside out to contact. Many players overcrowd the ball, and that overcrowding will make it nearly impossible to get the contact out in front in the optimal position
