Very good lesson . Is that why some people start their warm up around service box?

Contact point tends to be a function of grip. Older players with continental or weak eastern grips tend to have to make contact further back to keep the racquet face from being too open at contact when hitting topspin.

You are correct. Thank you for pointing this out.

If I am late I just focus on getting my hips are turned before I hit the ball. My test of being late is whether I can do a full windscreen wiper motion at contact. Gotta be careful with those slow ball drills as you can contact late and guide the ball over and it all seems great but won't work vs the faster balls you are actually late on.

Thanks for sharing what you have found to work. At first we slow it down in order to first be able to execute and get a sense for what the contact should feel like, then it's important as you say, to then increase the speed and difficulty of the feed so that we can do it under match conditions. I would be careful to trying to windshield wiper at contact however, most players extend out towards the target for longer hitting zone/margin for error before releasing.

Is OTI video analysis (digital coach) offer for forehand only? That’s what it says on your website.

Hi there, great question... so when signing up with the digital coach... you can actually send in a video of whateevr stroke you wish. Meaning you can get your serve, backhand, volleys...any of them analysed with that one video review. Please let me know if you have any further questions

I just pull my left elbow out of the way, like I am elbowing someone. Perfect contact.
